I'm working overtime trying to convince the family that while we don't wanna do the boat thing it'd be fun to attend the pre- and -after party, (helping Lucy out by keeping an eye on Rickie) visiting and chatting (about the Colorado) with the other landlubbers. After the fact, will I log it as attended? Or just note that that were there?? BTW, can I sign up to bring something?? You can log an attended! Like I said in an earlier post, you're involved in the event, just as much as the people floating. The event is the whole experience, from beginning to end, whatever you participate in is fine. You can bring something if you would like. That after float part is pretty informal. Half-Canadian volunteered to bring something warm to eat, like chili or soup. So if you want to bring something to share, you can. Kinda like potluck! (Is Ricky bringing stuff to share with everyone, or just Lucy?) Be careful the water might freeze before getting over to the other boat.. You could put an eye out Have fun and stay warm!! I'm so sorry that you're still fighting stuff. I don't have the coordinates to the take out unfortunately, I'm sorry. But as I mentioned before, it's kind of close to the cache, "Kicking Cache". Take a look at this map: Linky. From what we can tell, if you go directly 500 feet East from "Kicking Cache", where the river loops up towards the highway, that's where the take out should be. I'm hoping so! After this event is over, we can waymark the take out and Waymark the whole thing in the Rafting category. Cold... Possibly wet. It coincidentally coincides with the description of the river. Looking at weather.com for Marblemount, WA on Sunday: Highs 34, lows 26. A 60% chance of precipitation, although it says snow I think. Everyone should bring rain stuff. We're doing fine with space. We had a bunch of people sign up at first, but not very many afterwards. So I welcome people signing up! i sent a email to the event cache owner but no one has responded so i will post here we will be bringing our own kayak but will need transportation to get our car at the drop off spot

thanks for the info also how do you find out about events in the area I would like to get to know some local cachers in europe there were at least one every weekend

just moved from europe munich is great lots to see and do and lots of caches with so much history and to learn from i miss it if you have not been there before take the guided city tour it is only 12 euro and it ends with a bier at the famous hafbrier(mispelled) brewery/pub have one for me and dauchau concentration camp is not that far away you should go if possible it is not pleasant but it is something every american should witness and you will see what life was like for people

hello i was wondering how you get invited to Groundspeak headquarters to log the cache and drop off some tb;s and geocoins from europe and then how do you find it ?? mountainranger

I found a benchmark and it is not listed and it is the type that is tracked here is there any way to add it

GS frowns on the solicitaions of charities and fundaisers. Did you contact them to see what the reason for the lock down was? Would they reverse it if indeed it was due to charity solicitation? i am the owner and i was told by Groundspeak that it was the virtual logging nothing else there are other geocins that are charity related and there were alot more logs over 15 that i had to delete per Groundspeak it also states on my page where they can go donate money or items needed by troops this is a non profit orgnaization yes i have talked to them about the reason virtual logging it has nothing to do with the charity thing and they will only reverse if i delted the virtual logs which i did and got rid of the other posts giving the tracking number out which i did i have done everything they asked and still nothing

do not dig on him(nemsmedic11) it is me you want to yell at i am the owner of the coin i am the nurse who cares for these wounded men and women i see the pain and suffering they endure everyday till you can see what i have seen it would be a good idea to take the high road i am the one who gave out the tracking number BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW YOU COULD NOT reason being i listened to the cache a maniacs podcast and they gave out there tracking numbers for there personal geocoins and i had not seen any info till now after the fact so my suggestion is do not get any more discussions with anyone about this coin its done its over and i am sadden by the actions taken by big brother and they know who they are and to thank all of you out there that have supported the troops so far please continue to do so there fight is far from over mountainranger

this is a request because some website that shall remain nameless botched my order and now they have none unless i want to pay three times as much on ebay which i am not does anyone have any they would sell me i am a combat army nurse in germany and wanted one to dedicate to the wounded troops over here i work at landsthul army hospital here in germany and my time is almost up and i wanted to release it before i left i would pay more just not on ebay can you help thanks

i paid for a upgrade to premium membership and have NEVER recieved i have already received the charge on my credit card any suggstions on what i can do i have sent Groundspeak a email with NO response my only alernative is file a fraud claim on them
