Gps Caught Cheating Wife
Team Virginia Browns replied to derekdoubleut's topic in General geocaching topics
I am so sorry to hear this news at this time of year, well it is troubling any time of the year really. I am sure that you are feeling very angry, but I would encourage you not to take revenge. In my experience it can only cause further suffering in all parties concerned. I wish and pray that Grace and Peace be on you. -

What's The Most Extreme Multi-cache
Team Virginia Browns replied to Jumbo Village's topic in General geocaching topics
I just wonder if an approver would go for it, the distance may be too far for you to maintain the cache effectively. Now if you have a friend somewhere who was willing to maintain a cache a good distance away, then perhaps it would be not so much of a problem. The other issue is that when a cacher finds the clues and the final cache is a good distance away, how many cachers would just give up? I suppose that fair warning on the cache page is fair enough, but imagine the disappointment of figuring out the final cords and it's further than you can travel. -
When I placed my first two caches, I was absolutely paranoid about getting the cords right. I probably spent about 15 minutes walking back and forth to the cache, turning gps off and then starting over. Now I have assumed that it is bad form to purposely post Cords that are off even if the difficulty is increased? edit: spelling Doh!

Meridian Gold And Etrex Venture For Sale
Team Virginia Browns replied to Kermode's topic in GPS technology and devices
Recieved the Gold in the mail today. The product is as described, and is in great shape! The seller was great and kept in contact. Would recomend Buying from Yukon Cornelius in the future. -
I have an old Lowrance gps, eagle mappro. Any way the display pages are map, nav, status, and group. The nav page is the one with the directional arrow, ground speed, and distance to waypoint. I use the arrow page exclusively when geocaching. I wish I had a Garmin 76cs, just don't have that kind of money.

Very interesting data, enjoyed your analysis. We have circles arrows and a paragraph to explain what each one was... but where are those rakes shovels and implements of destruction and the VW bus?

With in the last week or so I have noticed that all the avatars are no longer seen with each post. Then I have seen in some messages with pictures "user posted image" while other images display as normal. I have checked my settings in my controls, and all appears well, so any ideas?

Another Cache Is Blown Up: California
Team Virginia Browns replied to amytincan's topic in General geocaching topics
I am beginning to think that education and partnering with local law enforcement is becoming priority. I am considering printing out a few brochures http://www.geocacher-u.com/resources/brochure.html and taking them to local police office just to make them aware that caches are out there. -

If you can't give her the GPS fast enough, buy a second. That's what I intend to do this Christmas.
