  1. Ding! Ding! Ding! Correct! Send me your address and I'll get the buttons out to you. Next question for another set of buttons in a few minutes.
  2. LOL. Some people are very close. The rankings for both years have again been re-guessed, but not in the right combination. Another hint. We finished in the same spot both years.
  3. Still up for grabs, so here's a hint. The correct rankings for last year and this year have already both been correctly guessed. The guesses just weren't in the same post.
  4. Thanks Joni. Some of the designs may some day turn into geocoins, but for right now buttons are much cheaper to produce.
  5. No one has hit the magic combination yet.
  6. We would have loved that, but unfortunately no.
  7. I think there were around 32 or 34 teams this year, probably roughly the same last. Oh, and I forgot to mention, one guess every 5 minutes.
  8. Well, I've been meaning to do a contest for a while to give away a little geocaching swag, but always seemed to be swamped with other stuff that needed doing. Today though I finally got pretty much caught up on outstanding button orders, so to celebrate I'll give a few away here. Sorry, no coin this time (though if the mint ever gets my 2007 coin right I might have a cointest when it arrives). So, up for grabs first is the set of geocaching buttons below. And now, for the question. My department at school has an intramural Ultimate team. What was our final ranking in the league at the end of playoffs last year and this year? You need to guess both rankings to win.
  9. yeah, me 2. All the old figurines, C-3PO carrying case, Millennium Falcon, you name it. Kinda makes me laugh when I come across it. I think my carrying case was Darth Vader. Congrats to all the coin receivers! I see very deserving people in the list. And my compliments to Geocaching Jedi on both your generosity and a very nice design.
  10. If any of your students are interested in trading, I'm sure there are lots of people who'd be happy to trade them another nice coin for it. Since I focus on collecting Canadian coins I've wanted one since I heard of the project, but unfortunately not luck yet.
  11. 1. Participating - Yes! 2. Received Name - Yes! 3. Mission Complete - Yes! 4. Santa Arrived - Yes! I almost forgot to post this. I was away for a few days, and when I got back I had a nice package waiting for me! Four coins and a pin too, in a cute little Elf hat! Thanks Secret Santa! I took a picture to post, but I'm running late to do some last minute shopping and head for my parents' place by now so I need to get going. Merry Christmas eveyone!
  12. Sorry to hear about the problems Tsun. I would definitely look into the option LadyBee4T mentioned of printing your labels through PayPal so you can get the cheap tracking. I've never done it myself (I don't think it's an option in Canada) but it sounds like the cheapest way to go. A while back I had a payment I received reversed because the person who sent it hadn't had their bank account set up properly with PayPal (fortunately they sent payment again when the problem was fixed). What I learned from the dispute process is PayPal is more on the side of the buyer. If a buyer complains they never received an item and the seller can't provide a tracking number to prove they sent it, the buyer wins, which may be why they are requiring the tracking numbers from you.
  13. Probably the last post for me in this thread. Thanks for the cointest! Merry Christmas!
  14. I saw this last night But only read it today Thanks for the cointest (That's my haiku submission )
  15. You won't have to get a tree because you'll be away for the holidays.
  16. Oops, guess I'm a little too late seeing this. Congrats to the winners!
  17. I got an e-mail tonight from a local cacher who found this coin in a cache. I don't recognize it, and although it is GPS related I'm assuming it's something made as a promotional coin rather than a geocoin. Has anyone else come across one of these or know anything about it?
  18. Well, definitely not a poodle, which was going to be my next guess. I also don't know dog breeds. English Pointer?
