  1. Well I'm from Nanaimo, BC, in Canada and this is an odd road sign if I've ever seen one.
  2. Wow that's cool. And yeah another BC caching store. A little odd that they are prices in US dollars but nice to know they exist.
  3. This came up a few months ago. SMS short codes, as their called, are country specific. Who knows to whom in Canada that your texts went to. Also, should this ever become available in Canada, you will not be texting your logs directly onto the cache page. They go into your "field notes". You have to log in to the website, and go to your field notes. You could then send them to the cache page as your cache log if you choose. I am aware that it would not go direct. I still like the way it works. And my text messages failed sending so there is clearly no one in Canada with the same SMS short code.
  4. I am currently using a quite old Magellan GPS; the Sportrak Map. I am finding that trying to update maps and such on it quite a nuscence. Can anyone help me out or is it just time for a new GPSr?
  5. It will by for GPS use! And okay I'll take a look. Well it appears this site is no longer working as it is not allowing me to download this program?
  6. I am looking for the best Topo map of BC/ or even just Vancouver Island. I would really appreciate feedback. And free is preferred!
  7. Oh... Well thank you for your help. Then I would like to have this service available in Canada soon, because it sounds very convenient
  8. I am now confused. I am doing as this site tells me to do to enable this feature but my text messages are not sending, and this is not due to a weak signal. Is there any restrictions to carriers? Although that would make no sense what so ever?!?!
  9. Alright thank you. I had heard about this but was not able to find this.
  10. I would defineatly like to see in the soon future, a feature where, like Twitter where you can send an SMS to a number, to tweet. Where you can send one with the Geocache code and a short message. This would make posting easier as you could simply post on the go, like the new iPhone app, or Trimble. This could also be taken into advantage in a financial stand point as text messages would the cost money, preferably the standard text messaging rate.
