Ok, so after giving up on my 60cx, I have ordered a 64st. What is the best way to load geocaches onto it without a premium membership? I plan on using it with a Mac if that makes a difference. thanks! Tom

Great! Thank you for your help. That all makes perfect sense now.... It is sad to toss a perfectly good Garmin Cx because it ages out... If I were to purchase a new GPS, what would you suggest? One that would be Mac compatible. It would be mainly for hiking and geocaching. Would the Garmin GPSMAP 64st with Bluetooth be a good choice? Thanks again! Tom

I tried to use Garmin Express and it says my 60 cx isn't supported and to update the maps. When I try to do so I get caught in a loop and it does nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a Mac User and a basic member, I am looking for the easiest way to load geocaches onto my Garmin 60CX. I get that the communicator plug in does not work anymore due to security issues. I tried to follow what people were saying about sending the .gpx file directly to my garmin, but the .gpx is grayed out with my garmin plugged in. What am I doing wrong?

I went to download some Geocache waypoint files today and it says my device is not detected. I updated my Garmin Plugin and my device shows up on the plug in, but not on the website download box. Some people have said download the gpx file directly to my device but the gpx button is grayed out and won't do anything. I am on a Mac running OS10 Sierra. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have an ETrex Legend that has worked pretty well for me for 3 years. Today I turned it on and the display showed just lines and a distorted picture of the startup screen. The batteries were fine but I switched them anyways. I turned it on and it did the same thing. Then after 30 seconds or so, the screen cleared right up. Anyone ever have this happen? Is this unit on it's way out? I used it for the rest of the day and it seemed to work fine. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in advance, tom

I have an eTrex Legend and the adhesive seems to be failing that holds the rubber surround on. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to first use to clean the old adhesive off and then what to use to reglue it on? Other then this, I love the eTrex Legend so I would rather not have to replace it at this point! Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! tom

I bought an eTrex Legend (the blue one) a year ago. The PC link cable is not USB. I am going to be getting a new comptuer soon and many of them do not have the same connector that came with the unit originally. Can I get a cable to replace the one that came with it or an adapter?
