I cache paperless. I use GSAK, spinner to create html files, and plucker to read them on my Palm IIIc. This is working great for me, but I want to eliminate the PDA from the equation and move the cache info to a smartphone. I am looking at three units: The Motorola Q, Treo 700p, and the Treo 700wx. I have Verizon Wireless service, so that would factor into the equation. I'm wondering what others use and how it's working out for them. What are the pluses and minuses for each of the three phone. I got the following instructions from Magellan when I experienced the same problem: In order to fix the problem that you are experiencing, you would need to follow the following instructions for Expert Upload: Download the latest software upgrade for the SporTrak Map from our website: http://www.magellangps.com/en/support/prod...Trak_MapStd.asp You need to PRESS AND HOLD, PLUS + MINUS + WALKING MAN to turn your unit off. Before you upload you need to put your unit in "Software Upload Mode" by pressing and holding GLOBE + MENU + POWER. Download the file into your computer Unzip it Open up the MAGUP file Select "NO" on the automatic upload window. Select EXPERT from the toolbar, on the EXPERT SET UP window On unit type select SporTrak Map Select your COM Port and set Expert Upload ON Press OK Select UPLOAD from the tool bar Select "Program code only" On upload file window, select UPLOAD FILE.
