  1. Yeah, we do. All the caches are easy to find except for one that appears to be missing. Check out the logs for the cache, Making a Choice GC1CPZG. We made a special trip to get the coin but then couldn't complete the challenge. I've been told by other cachers that we should try to get the coin anyway but have not tried yet. All the caches are close together so once you get to town, you don't have to travel very far.
  2. I'm not sure how to put a link on here but the cache you are looking for is called, Counting Counties in Oregon and is GCR9XY. Are you working on the Oregon Delorme too? Or the Oregon Earthcache Challenge?
  3. Wow, that is a really annoying thing you are doing. Think about this: how many other people are interested in your current cache count? It's my opinion (and only an opinion) that cache logs are not the place to store your cache count or other information that would better be stored elsewhere. They're there for you to record and share your experience finding the cache. Of course, I also object to obnoxious FTF logs, so I am probably in the minority. On the topic: I have a little Python script that can transform your Field Note times into local times if anybody wants it. I don't usually post very often on the forums for just this reason. I'm glad that geocaching is a hobby that many people enjoy even when someone makes rude comments. It's a sport enjoyed by a variety of types of people. Just because you think it's rude doesn't mean it is. I really enjoy seeing where people are in their stats and especially if one of my caches was done as a milestone. So keep the stats coming on my caches.
  4. Wyoming 2007 and NYGO is on Oakcoins. Thanks! Do you know anything about getting the activation code for: Long Island 2006 (LIGO)
  5. I am trying to catch up and activate some coins that I've had for some time. Does anyone know where I can get activation codes for: Wyoming 2005 NYGO New York Both are trackable on geocaching. Your help would be appreciated.
  6. Where will the Friday dinner be? ISplash and Ogeo should be there for it.
  7. Just made our reservations at Americas Best Value Inn in Centralia. Looking forward to it.
  8. Quadsinthemudd, ISplash & Ogeo have shirts and pathtags we've designed for the cache machine. The shirts are ready to be made. If you would like one, let Ogeo know what size shirt and how many to ensure we have your size. The pathtags will not be shipped before Jan 2 so we will mail them to you. We had some time challenges with an apprentice designer and we started the process too late for arrival ahead of time. The shirts will be forest green with army tan to accent the logo. We are looking at $17.00 for s-m-l-xl and 18.50 for xxl or xxxl. Pathtags $3.00 plus .50 shipping for 1-3 qty. Here is a link for Quad City Geocachers facebook photos where you can view the pictures of the shirt front, back and pahtag: quad city geocachers facebook photos I haven't tried to add a link before so hopes this works.
  9. If you have the right gps you should pick up a Wherigo in the Tricities. So easy a caveman can do it is a quick one that won't take you too long. Now if you were going to be going thru Clarkston or Lewistion I could give you a ton of good caches.
  10. If Love isn't able to get her dad to put one out, let me know by email. I don't always check the forums. I'd be happy to put one out.
  11. Hi I see you already have one in Idaho but if you ever need another, let me know. I live in Lewiston, ID and can place one in the upper part of our state.
  12. Both Tip Top and deer hideout caches are up and running and ready for a bunch of eager cachers.
  13. We will have a list of phone-a-cacher list for help while doing the cache machine. One of the ones on the list will be for calling when you get to the webcam and he will do the picture for you.
  14. Quick Question??? How many people will be here Friday night for a dinner get together? If I have a rough number, I'll check availability at a couple places.
  15. For anyone interested at the event: We will have a $15 off coupon towards the purchase of the starter kit for pathtags. The starter kit is the first 50 custom pathtags -OR- you can use the coupon for 10% off a purchase in the Geocoin Store (www.geocoinstore.com). It will be good for 2 weeks after the quads cities cache machine event. So if you were thinking about creating a design, you could get your design started now and wait until you get the coupon to submit it to pathtags. MadHattersNeverland.com is the one that designed the event pathtag. They were very easy to work with.
  16. Hey, dshifter Give us a call. We've been there but need to go back for ISplash. That was when we were both going by the same geoname. And quadsinthemudd wants to go too.
  17. [ Pathtags for the event arrived yesterday and they look great! You can see it on the pathtag.com website. Just look for # 8318.
  18. I just got the Colorado 400t and can't figure out how to get geocaches loaded into it. I've spent the last two evenings reading other forums and tried the following: Using GSAK, I did a pocket querry of local caches that I have not found. In GSAK, I tried to use the "GPS" and "Send waypoints." I get this message: Error sending waypoints [ERROR] SetupDiEnumDeviceInterfaces; No more data is available. Then it asks me: Is the Garmin USB number 0 powered up & connected? Is it really a USB unit? If it's serial, don't choose USB, choose serial. [ERROR] Get_Time: Unknown date/time protocol GARMIN: Can't init usb: I also tried to use the Macro, "ColoradoExport.gsk" and with that I get the message: Successfully exported 0 geocaches to Colorado in file: caches.gpx" No geocaches show up in my unit. Can someone explain in more explicit details what I need to do? I'm anxious to try it in the field.
  19. I received a Geopenguin Coin in a trade but do not have the activation code. Does anyone know where I can get it?
  20. Well, it's official. Ogeo & ISplash have booked our rooms at Comfort Inn North. Looking forward to meeting everyone and the wild adventure.
  21. ISplash & I are looking into coming up for this adventure. We have never been to a cache machine. If we can make it, we'd like to hook up with a couple more people. We can drive or ride with someone else. I read thru all the notes and was a little confused on which hotel everyone is staying in. We also have Choice Hotels but didn't know if I should stay in the valley or on Division. Any suggestions? I'm waiting for ISplash to get back to town to confirm reservations.
  22. I just signed up and paid my dues to the WSGA. I love to attend events in Spokane and only live a mile from the Washington border and also work in Washington. Plus I have several caches in Clarkston. If it is not too late, I would like to order two sets of Chapter coins.
  23. I received some coins over a year ago and for various reasons, never got around to activating them. I have searched this forum for the answers and tried each one. I was able to activate 30 coins with all your help. Thanks. But, I still have the following that I am having trouble with: US coin by Groundspeak celebrating the first 5 yrs of geocaching. Groundspeak will not help me with an activation code saying I need to go back to the person I got it from. That info is long lost. Can you help me? Geocaching does not even recognize the # on the coin. NYG Ghost of Caching Past fOtOmOm IcreCreamMan - he told me to go to the CachingPlace but it does not recognize my # If anyone can help, please email Ogeo
  24. Are you looking for one to create your own bar codes or to read a bar code that is in a cache? I came across a puzzle cache that used a bar code for the clue. I was able to take it to a store and they were glad to scan it for me.
