  1. This maybe why some go missing: http://protectsensitiveecosystems.blogspot.com/
  2. Anyone doing this systematically is only doing it for the attention and angst it causes. Let me take a look at your cache, unfortunately it might just be a normal loss rate. The bigger issue is with a couple of the larger cache's in the area. For example: GC1HTFR GCJVC2 It just seems like there has been a rash of TBs and coins that just go missing in the area and I was wondering why this would happen and if there was any thing that could be done.
  3. There seems to be some one for more then one systematically taking TB and not logging them in my area. One of my cache's has had a number of bugs go missing and I've lost 3 or 4 bugs right after they started. There was also a local travel bug hotel that got shut down because the bugs keep getting looted. I guess my question is, why? What's the point of taking a TB and not logging, particulary if your doing it on a large scale. Has this come up elsewere? Has anyone taken any action? Is there action to take?
  4. How do you know that the person who retrieved your TBs just hasn't had the chance to log them yet? One person logged a visit to the Diaz Travel Bug Inn the day after you dropped your TBs there. Maybe they picked up yours and they haven't been at a computer or had the time to log them. Be patient. Hopefully your TBs are in good hands and aren't (yet) truly missing. Agreed. I'm just not familiar with how long it usually takes people. I try to log a trackable as soon as I get it. Do some people hold on to them for a period of time before logging them into the system?
  5. I've been geocaching for about 1 year and decided to get a few travel bugs. I put four in motion in February, and three of the four disappeared in their first cache. All four were new designs. Is it common for something like that to happen?
