The All New All New Groundspeak UK Pub Quiz
Beach_hut replied to Simply Paul's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
In that case, the gentleman concerned is Brian Milton. -
As long as you've not placed anything in your zones, and they are just virtual, (as per every Wherigo I've ever done or placed), then you don't need to worry about proximity to any other caches. In terms of the second question, I've seen it asked elsewhere and the answer came back that it was fine, although could a reviewer confirm this? SIDE NOTE: If I came to find it, I'd appreciate knowing on the cache page the final was 20 miles away, so I'd have an idea of the distance I'd need to travel.

That's the Ding for UncleMalcy. They are the only states to be perfect rectangles. Although I should state that is in Mercator Projection - on the surface of our nearly spherical Earth none of the boundaries are straight lines (so the answer to the other question would be "all of them"! -

Thanks. An American question, seeing as 4th July was this past weekend... What distinction do Colorado and Wyoming have, that none of the other US states do? (Though North & South Dakota, Kansas & Pennsylvania are close!) -

Thanks for checking! Got the PQ mails now, and the find log we knew about. Not seen our test log, but I'm sure it'll get here soon.

I was just wondering if there's an issue with emails this morning? I was wondering where my pocket queries are, only to check the site and find them all available for download - but I've not seen a mail yet. I've also logged a test log on one of our caches and am yet to see the mail. And I haven't seen any notifications come through since the middle of the night (although I don't know if there were meant to be any, of course! Hence sending the test log. Edit: one of our caches has been found today and no email notification of the log as of writing) Edit: our mail provider is gmail.

I reckon about 2 square miles. -
There was a multiple murder near us a year or two back, and one of the bodies was found very close to one of our caches. (Now archived)

OK, I'm building a Wherigo in Urwigo and want to create a scenario where, when a player enters a zone, a randomly chosen three characters out of a prescribed list of eight become visible. (they're all going to reside within that zone permanently so switching the visibility on and off is the simple approach) What's the cleanest, least code-heavy way of approaching that?

Apologies for not checking in sooner. Most of you have answered with names of other search engines. This is basically what google was called before it was google. Pagerank is close but it's the name of the algorithm they used. The name came from the way the search engine originally ranked sites by how many sites linked back to it.
