Fenian16

Congrats! I just hit 49 yesterday, so I've got a ways to go to catch up even to you.

In Northern Ireland, Irish Republicans are often derogatorily referred to as fenians, a word which originally referred to Finn MacCool's legendary band of warriors, the Fianna. Recently, especially since Seanchai released the song 'Fenians', many Irish Republicans have claimed the label as a badge of honor. Fenian was already taken so I added 16 for 1916, the year of the Easter Rising. <edit>I'm American, but used to be very active with INAC, and still hold very strong opinions.</edit> I'm sure Abbybeth would rather I used Wakko or Ravenheart, but both of those were already taken.

I've found a handicapped parking sign posted in the woods, a homeless camp, and a stolen wallet (which I gathered and returned to its owner). Maybe not amazing oddities, but I still have fewer than 25 finds.

Took my son caching today, and let him choose what to trade. He wouldn't have the sleeved Mario Lemieux hockey card or any of the other interesting things to pick from. Nope. He had to have that little white ball. There's no accounting for taste, I guess, so I wont feel bad in the future about trading a golf ball out of one and into another.
