    FB2970 - Destroyed ?

    My log show the photos as we found this station. Log cabin is gone, but I did not check any other reference marks, as the station was visible from the road. Should I go back to do anything else, or submit to Deb as destroyed, with the photos I have?

    A 1994 recovery shows "good".

    When we signed up there was a special going on, a free capital letter with the purchase of each number. The "2s" were really cheap.

    Me too, I tried leaving feedback with the tab on the right...phttt, it does not work either. Put back the old map at the bottom.

     

    2jeeps 2 Jacks -- What browser were you using? and were you logged in when you tried to click on the feedback button

     

    Firefox 3.5.10 & I am always showing being logged in. About half the message shows when typing in the feedback box. It's tough to use that way.

    I print out the USG data sheet, and then navigate using the topo map app. in my GPS. But also, I use the screen that displays location coordinates, a magnetic compass, and a surveyor's/contractor's 200' tape.

     

    Nice to have a shovel, trowel for excavation, a "probe" (Long shaft screwdriver).

     

    I suppose "paperless" is one way to go. My GPS offers this option, but I really like having the USG data sheet in hand.

     

    I have found using a covered clipboard the way to go with benchmarking. If anyone asks what I'm doing, I flip through the pages while they wait for an answer. :blink: I have a distance wheel and a yellow vest to go with the goodies that Allison mentioned above.

    We're two of us in The Blorenges. Nearly all our caches are found when we're together but from time to time MrB may find one when he's away on business or I might find one when I'm somewhere on my own. We always sign the log book as The Blorenges even if it's just one of us at the cache but in such a case, when doing the on-line log, we'll usually put (MrB) or (MrsB) at the end, mostly for our own reference.

     

     

    We do this the same way, there are two of us and we log all our finds under this name. We usually note when it was just one that found it, but not always.
