we were attempting to mark the coordinates on a cache. the unit said we were at 41° when we were actually at 36°. chalked it up to having a banana; but i dunno.

hey thanks! i just emailed that page to my classroom. that's just the question my students had 2 days ago! my hat's off to you. sis

do you have a local geo club? ...could ask them to come with their gps as a loaner and to help out. we did that and called the whole thing an event cache. it worked well for us. sis

after you come through nashville, damvue (great view), total confusion, ground hog are some off the stewart's ferry exit. honeylocust wed cam in nashville is our only live cam cache. tool cache is a bugger. at the lebanon exit, bug juice of mossy field is our oldest. anything by a182pilot is good. mine are too far i think (pin, in the pines are a couple)

good luck little spielbug. we'll be watching you.

oh, how i wish for an outdoor classroom!

looks like you have enough takers...just want to say i'm impressed and happy to see this. i am a teacher in nashville, tennessee. you will have a blast with this. what's the name of your travel bug? i would love to watch it. i'd love to hide it too...after i introduced it to my students. great idea and good luck. sis

i contacted you via your geo email. haven't heard from you from that avenue. did you not get it?

i'm the only one. seems i've been the only one alot lately. thought maybe this was the way it was on a weekday morning...since i'm usually off teaching school...happy snow...happy, happy snow!

don't contact salvo and mustard devil unless you're in memphis (my mistake; maybe my brain's frozen)...kywildturkey would know.
-
i'm just north of nashville. interstate clear enough. black ice...yes in spots. back roads...covered in ice and snow. more snow expected sunday. for roads in ky, contact salvo or mustard devil...they'll know.
