  1. Already looked, no cheap ones. Might go buy a yellow tomorrow.
  2. Nooooooo.......... was up in Newcastle today with work and did a few caches on my 'way back', four up there, no problem. In my (increasingly unlikely) quest to clear West Yorkshire this month, I thought I'd do a few WY caches. Even though it was peeing down, I went first to Roman in the Gloamin. Found it OK even though my GPSR died in the act. I am NOT a happy bunny. Tomorrow is the first day of the school hols, and I has a nice (read long) day planned caching with the kids. So much for that idea. So what do I do now? OK, so I can have another go an Moravian Walk and Kirkstall falls Unlocked. I wanna cry I am NOT addicted.
  3. If there had been something that I knew for sure would be unacceptable, I would have done that. I just wasn't sure where the line in the sand lay, which is why I asked for opinions here. Also, this is not the only reason the cache has been archived the position was inapropriate too.
  4. OK, so here's what happened, found a cache today with three condoms in. I think this is wrong, but wanted to hear what others thought. Seems we are in agreement. So who do I contact? The cache owner? Moderator? Post it in the cache log? Bear in mind I was 2nd to find and the TFT wasa TNLN.
  5. "Condoms are suitable cache booty." Discuss...
  6. NO! er.... maybe? Too flipping busy working at the mo to throw in another this month. Still might be able to scrape clearing West Yorkshire though, we'll see.
  7. You are not kidding! I put that down to lack of experience, that's my excuse and I'm darn well sticking to it. Alex did 'just happen' to be passing on my fourth attempt and gave a me a pointer or two. That cache is just sooooo..... sneeky. Enjoyed all the Austin Power series though, can't wait for #4-6.

  14. I started on 12 June, was up to 99 by the 30th, was quite pleased.
  15. I sometimes do some caches on my way home from work, at work I wear a navy blue uniform and hi-vis vest. This makes me "look official". On one cache a couple of cachers reported a hostile reaction from a neighbouring householder, he came up to me and had a pleasant chat Edited stoopid typo
  16. Hmmm... methinks I've seen one just like that in yorkshire somwhere...

  19. Small issue with GSAK and Multimap for UK users, Multimap have gone and changed their systema little, the current URLs give deformed pages, if the URLs are changed to the following all is well: Multimap (Zoom in)=http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=%lat&lon=%lon&gride=%lon&gridn=%lat&scale=10000 Multimap (Zoom out)=http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=%lat&lon=%lon&gride=%lon&gridn=%lat&scale=25000 Also I find the following URL useful, take you straight to the print page: Multimap (Print 1:5000)=http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=print&scale=25000&gride=%lon&gridn=%lat&lat=%lat&lon=%lon&width=600&height=600 Hope this helps someone,
