  1. Thank You, This is also what I see. All the sudden stars go missing ? Something recent caused them to vanish and if MS doesn't update anymore Groundspeak must have done something. I did restart but it didn't help.
  2. Now that the jokers have responded. Does anyone have a serious answer?
  3. I don't .
  4. When viewing a cache page the difficulty and terrain stars are gone. They have been replaced with a black box with an X in it. What's going on here?
  5. I usually lose my mojo in January when it drops to 10-20 below. Then when it heats up to 5 above I regain it and do some caching.
  6. Most of the ( coins and pins.com) Geo-achievement and other Geo-coins are out of stock. What's going on? Are they going out of business ?
  7. Actually it has been active only 1 month and a few days. Published 10-10-19 and GC auto email received 11-2-19. The hide was active less than a month before they hit me with the email.
  8. If you read my logs, I would have checked if I felt there was a problem . The hide is 99.9% muggle proof. There's other reasons I will not get into. When I did check it yesterday it was in fine shape and exactly how I originally placed it.
  9. GS should understand not everyone likes P&Gs. Many enjoy the challenge of a tough hide like this one. Variety is the spice of life.
  10. A couple weeks ago I received groudspeak's HQ automated computer generated email on my 5-5 hide. The one that states your cache may need help. Apparently there's a flaw in the programming that it does not consider D.T. and experience of the hider. Never ever trust a computer. Groundspeak please fix so the unneeded emails stop.
  11. New cache notifications are now ending up in my spam folder. Is this happening to anyone else? Did Groundspeak change something ? What's going on?
  12. I used the computer (field notes) to log finds. The jewels updated immediately and rewarded the souvenir and activated the 35 find stage. When logging the finds they failed to register 0/35. Update: Today they now appear. Someone must have fixed this problem.
  13. I found all jewels and now need the 35. I logged 18 and got credit for none. 0/35 is wrong so this defective program needs to be fixed.

  15. Hurry, someone tell alamogul before he runs out of gas.
  16. I didn't know I had to draw a picture. The Geocaching website obviously. Sometimes it works and other times the words (The service is unavailable).
  17. Here we go again. I've been getting a blank screen with only the words (The service is unavailable).
  18. If you're talking about the maze containers, they can be fragile. I bought a couple replacements and good thing I did. Someone tried to brute force the puzzle and broke the maze guide.
  19. This happened a couple years ago on a very hot 95+ summer day on a rural country road. As we were going down the dirt road we spotted a elderly gentleman standing on the road. He didn't look well so we turned around to check on him. We asked him if he was okay but he didn't respond very well. We then asked where his car was parked and he replied down the road. We got him in the van to find his car. I asked him where he lived and he replied, on a hill. It was obvious he had dementia. He said his car was white. We couldn't find a white car but noticed someone nearby mowing grass. We pulled in the farm to see if they know him. Nope, no idea who he his. I decided to get the man to show me his identification. He had a identification card and his name was Lloyd and we now had his address. We put the address in the gps and it was a 1 1/2 miles away. We get to Lloyd's house and knocked on the door. After a while Lloyd's wife answers the door. We tell her about finding Lloyd and she gets real pissed. She yells, why did you bring him back. You should have left him there. He does this all the time. She was doing some canning and didn't want to be interrupted. She did calm down and we had a short chat. The white car we were searching for only existed in Lloyd's mind. A few days later my caching partner followed up by notifying the local social services to look into Lloyd's welfare. You never know what you might find geocaching.
  20. Just noticed https://coord.info/GC5ZW2G was awarded Geocache of the week. It looks like an interesting historical location with 10189 logged and with only 4% favorite rating. What are the qualifications for geocache of the week?
  21. The fact is many people use and are happy with the browser in question. Let's support them. It's not the browser as it worked perfectly fine before the new maps. As you state it's the technology. It's bad technology if it's not compatible with existing browsers. Use the old map which works with all browsers. Most people I've spoken with prefer the old map. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
  22. My mapping doesn't show I only see a white screen. I do see the spinning cube on the web link so my browser is fine.
  23. When trying to view the map from cache page a blank white screen only appears. This has been happening since they introduced the new map. Please don't blame a second party like a browser. The map worked before Groundspeak added the new map so it was caused by something in the map design program. This is a common problem when computer programmers update existing programs and don't see the negative effects they may cause. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Please fix the problem so a map appears instead of a white screen.
  24. Good thing you don't cache in Minnesota. You would have a very short caching season.
  25. I did one of the new adventure lab caches with two other people. We each had a phone and found all stages. But it was not easy. 1. The phone instructions were sometimes confusing. 2. You have no choice but to use phone navigation. No coordinates for any stages were given so our gps couldn't be used. Most stage locations were off by 100+ ft. Fortunately we knew the area and landmarks. At the final the person with the android walk the apposite direction. We used geosense to find the final. 3. No way to write a found it log and tell of your adventure. Edit to add; 4, No attributes. 5. No difficulty or terrain rating.
