  1. I would like to see a log option that allows third party maintenance for caches whose owners have either died or are no longer involved in the game, many of these caches have accumulated favourite points or are being used in geotrail situations. This would allow anyone who performs maintenance on a cache that has a needs maint log to effectively negate it and not make it subject to be archived in the future
  2. Make sure you are set up to the WGS84 Datum not any other as they can put you off 150 feet
  3. The problem is solved , the format settings for datum in my Easy GPS program were not set to WGS 84
  4. I use dd mm.mmm so the difference is 4/1000 and 44/1000
  5. No, that's where it was set, wonder if anyone else has this problem?
  6. I have noticed on my 62s that waypoints I mark have different values between what is viewed on the unit itself and what is viewed when I select the same waypoint from the GPX file with my computer. In my case the difference is always .004 on the North reading and .044 on the west reading. This seems to apply to all waypoints I mark. The reading from the unit is the correct one as I have checked it against a known survey marker and my other GPSrs
  7. I find the new on line form much more difficult and less user friendly than the old style which I will continue to us as long as I am allowed
  8. If it wasn't published it will never show up, if its archived after publication it takes a while then goes away
  9. If you go in and upload the latest version of Easy GPS it recognizes the 62 and downloads are simple from PQs
  10. I'm using Easy Gps and as long as I give each PQ its own name they all sit in the 62s GPX folder side by side with no apparent conflict
  11. Why don't you just put another log book in it, thats what we do around here
  12. I just plug into my computer and delete what I want from the GPX files, that way I get to keep what I havn't found
  13. I agree, we did the loop from Dawson Creek across through Ab and up the MacKenzie Hwy and back around to Ft Nelson then back down the Alaska Hwy to start. Was an awesome trip, the caches in NWT are mostly near waterfalls or scenic views. Do them all, its worth it!!
