  1. A while back, there was a guy in here complaining about how Premium Members were elitist. I do believe someone got him a PM...

ok so if i winge and moan  about all these P members>>> about how they must have all the good caches to themself as they block them from view from all us lower class cachers :signalviolin: ,

i bet you even have your own funny head between your legs handshake or cryptic passsword like the cache will open at the mid night moon or were dodgy outfits to hide there true identity  !!!

and maybe one of them will upgrade me incase i let out all there secrets

  2. im always willing to adopt a coin< i love seeing there movements and looking at the caches they visit.

espicialy if there in another country as i whould never look at the cache if it wernt for my travling coin being there.

im new to coin collecting so only have a few but when my collection grows i will adopt out myself to new upcoming cachers

  3. If anybody wants to try it, they can feel free to click on my profile. But I like the fact that people have been using it for gifts or as a way of saying thank you for going out of your way.

why whould people need to try on your profile as your already a premium member,

if they wish to try on a member maybe pick me as you will see it work as my status will change from member to premium member

  4. brings up this point.......

where there TB or Geocoins in any of the cache's

if so they are items paid for and owned by another person, if they wre taken without permission it is THEFT.

i recently had dealings with a subject thru work that was arested because he had eaten some food off someone plate in a resturant while he was in the loo.

The item had been paid for and owned by the person in the loo, taken by the subject without permission and tommorow he is facing court for theft!!

so wheather its a cache in the woods if there are items in there owned and paid for taken by the cache maggot he is liable for theft

  5. the name of a cache that has been crossed like this means that it has been temporarily disabled by the owner

it could be that it has had a few DNF and they have disabled it until they can check.

or they may be changing it for some reason, moving the cache or changing clues etc.

i have recently disabled one due to livestock.

  6. I have to agree with those who have stated that there has to be more to the story, and to give advice based on partial information isn't a good idea. Would the OP care to give the full scoop?

Where can I get my hands on some rotting lemming carcasses? :)
I've finally found a Google search term that gives me no hits whatsoever: "rotting lemming carcasses" (not counting this thread, of course).

I was hoping to point you to a source, but no joy today...

    --Larry

Try "dead lemmings." Apparently, there's a good supply up in Arctic Europe. Quote accompanies the pic:

    lemmings.jpg

A bad vole and lemming year has had an impact on the owls and other predators up in arctic Europe this year, with large numbers of frozen lemming corpses scattered about the tundra...
So, apparently, they aren't rotting, just frozen, but wait for the thaw...

why wait for them to thaw..... you get a better impact with a nice whak, biff, pow when there frozen

  7. dont know if its been covered but what if.....

you have a cache listing (XXX) near to where your target area set as a standard cache rated 1/1, inside you have 8 cache listings of the others that you are placing

the other ones are all mystery cache and you state that the location is inside cache listing XXX.

then you have each of the caches with increasing levels

    1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5

this way they can pick and chose how hard they want to go. and they have the oppotunity if they tackel all of them to get 9 little smiles (main cache listing and 8 harder ones) and 9 FTF.

if you then wanted to expand there is the possability of upping the teraine as well.

Interesting. But how about this twist on that very same idea? Each cache has the coordinates for the next, increasingly difficult, cache in the progression.

Thats brilliant, i like the sound of that..... i was racking my brain thinking of changes to make befor i posted it and thought it needed a little tweek but couldnt think what but 'GOF & Bacall' found tht little tweek  !!

  9. when i was back in school about 8 years ago i had a pedal bike accident.

i use to ride everywhere, everyday, the average day worked out about 25 miles.

on one occassion we were off to the shops (me, my sister, and 3 of our friends) the first 3 miles were fine until we hit a little village........

out of the bush's come a big black cat right into our wheels, my friend swerved to avoid it and his front wheel locked up with my back wheel........ the results from that caused my bike to do a summer sault into the air.

The next thing i remeber is seeing a paramedic over the top of me as i was strapped to a board in the back of an ambulance.

from my friends and my distraught sister it turns out that as the bike flipped it threw me at about 30mph face first into the tarmac, knocking out 3 of my teeth, breaking my nose, and put a 8 inch crack in my>

    >

    >

    >

    >

    > helmet!!

it was later revealed that as i rolled over onto my back the bike finished its flip as the round end of the handel bar slammed into the top of my helmet.

The paramedics and police both stated that if i didnt have my helmet on, if the impact with the road hadn't killed me the handle bar whould have.

i am now recoved and still ride, but i would never dream of getting on a bike without a helmet pedal or petrol

  10. hello my friend!!

i have a hotel down the road that is ease of access to france and beyond or can be dropped into one of my local caches just to travel as many as it can.
