  1. The Fraser Valley is the topic of my latest Geocaching video. I visited numerous caches in the Langley and Abbotsford area and had a blast. This episode has 12 caches featured, including 4 DNF's! I changed the format slightly and added some music and graphics. I hope you enjoy the latest episode. So point your browser here and enjoy! And please, spread the word!
  2. Thanks! The others can be linked to by going to my site at www.icenrye.com and finding the articles on the geocaching videos on the front page. Or, you can click here for episode 2 and click here for episode 1.
  3. Gear List: Video Camera - Panasonic PV-GS120 - Recently replaced by the PV-GS150. If you can find a 120, go for it! It's much better than the replacement. Editing - Premiere 6.5 Computers - Compaq X1000 series with Centrino 1.4ghz or Dell 8900 with P4 3.2 ghz Digital Camera - Canon G3 I also just bought a tie clip microphone from Radio Shack. This gives me more even audio as I move arround. Hope this helps.
  4. Good Job! I like the moving camera shots. Much more interesting then the static shots I alway use in my videozine. Keep them coming! And remember to visit my videozine site. PS. If you're interested, check out archive.org. They host all kinds of media including video. They have incredible bandwidth and if you would like to post high res versions of your videos, that's the place to go. Best of all, there's no cost! Cheers!
  5. With the popularity of episodes 1 and 2, I've now released episode 3 of Icenrye's Geocaching Videozine. This episode features caches in the Okanagan area of British Columbia, Canada. To view, point your browser here. There's more information available in the Canada section of the forums.
  6. I'm excited to announce the release of episode 3 of Icenrye's Geocaching Videozine. This episode features Okanagan area caches with a quick side trip to the Caribou to check our 108 Mile Ranch. Other caches featured are: 787 Vernon Christmas Knox Cache Penticton Rosegarden Pen-Tic-Ton Surprise Tiny Tunnel Treasure Creek Cache Yacky's Giant It’s only a short 21 minutes this time around as I had too much fun caching, hiking, and hanging out with the boys and didn’t get to tape as much. However, it was a lot of fun. So, point your browsers here and enjoy.
  7. Wow! I was crusing the fourms and found this thread. So to you, the Geocaching community, I say "Thank You. Thank You very much!" Now I have to catch up to mitzydog! Oh, eposode 3, or as I like to call it, Episode III - Revenge of the Micro! is now out. Actually, it has only a bit to do with micros, but does feature numerous Okanagan Caches. Point your browsers here and enjoy.
  8. If anyone's interested, there's a simple video tutorial on paperless caching in my videozine episode 2. I use GSAK and Plucker with a m125. The video is available here.
  9. Well episode 2 is now out. I'm moving the discussion to here.. thanks to everyone for their feedback. I hope you'll enjoy episode 2.
  10. Thanks to everyone who has downloaded episode 1 of my videozine. Episode 2 is now available! I've made the file available in four different formats. Three formats are available in high and low resolutions and there is also a Divx version. In episode 2, I do a bit of hunting looking for a cache called Inukshuk. I feature a "Site of the Month" which for this episode is Georadio. I also tackle the question of paper vs paperless caching. Finally, throughout the show are reports of the Prince George Pentcachelon. So please point your browser here and enjoy. Also, please tell your friends!

    Cache Approvers

Good question! My approver is in Atlanta GA!
  12. In my best Elvis inpersonation, "Thank You. Thank You Very Much!" Speaking of which, I should finish filming episode 2 this weekend and should have it up next week. Here's a teaser for you. This was a rough cut and I've changed the opening, but it's part of what's in store for episode 2. Cache On! Icenrye.
  13. Ok. Done! Check this out. I hope you enjoy.
  14. Another great epoisode. I've finished the segment on your site for my Geocaching Videozine. I'll upload it to my server and let you have a sneak peak. Stay tuned for the link.
  15. The first thing I'm going to do is learn to properly name your site!
  16. Hi guys! Great shows. I'd love to contribute something. I'll see what I can come up with. I'm busy working on episode 2 of Icenrye's Geocaching Videozine, and hope to have it available by the end of the month. I'm going to feature georadio.com as my geosite of the month. Please feel free to talk about the videozine on your next show. The site is here or you can visit my home page at: www.icenrye.com. Good Work! Cahce On!
  17. Just found out myself on the weekend. Check out this topic.
  18. The US is not a country? Thanks. That did the trick.
  19. Opps! Spoke too soon. Sorry. Didn't work. The radius function is messing me up. It won't generate unless I set a radius of 750km or less. So all I'm getting in my query is 65.
  20. Thanks! I also clicked on the "Countries" button and while holding the shift button, click on the firstand last country. Also, set the radius to 10000km. That got me all 256 or so caches.
  21. Ok. The answers are here. I'm closing this thread.
  22. I'm trying to import an Ozi wpt file into GSAK. The first way I tried was to convert the wpt file to a txt file. However it seems that GSAK only opens loc and gpx formats. Any ideas? (I originally posted this as its own topic. I thought I was on this topic. Sorry!)
