I have searched everywhere on the geocaching site to find out what QEF means. A cacher left this in a log on a cache of mine that he found ... I have no idea what it means. Can anyone help?

Panama Canal caches .... any info about how accessable they are to a cruiser ( Holland America ... 28 days) .. would be appreciated.

I can see that there are some other topics about cruising central America but they are all in Spanish and I have no idea what they say ...so I hope this is not a repeat. We have cached on Cruise ships many times but it was always along the Mexican Riviera side of the continent Mazatlan. PA, Acupolco and Cabo. I would like to know what the caching is like in some of the ports in Cental America and how safe it would be to travel off the beaten path? Has anyone out there done it and how have they found it. I have researched some the ports... Balboa in Panama , Huatalco in Mexico, Cartagena in Colombia and also Cristobal in the Panama. There are caches there but I have no idea how to get to any of them safely (???) The cruise is 28 days long so caching will be a nice diversion from the ship. I would appreciate ANY information ( in English please, as that's all I understand ) that would help us in these ports.

"Creat a route" is not giving me milage after the "save the route" click. When I make the route I get the proper mileage at the bottom of the window but when I click "save the changes" and the new window pops up then the mileage turns to 0 miles .... WHY ?? I must be doing something wrong but I have tried everything on the tips page and all results turn out the same ... 0 miles !!! Can you tell me what I am doing wrong !!! Thanks

I have not been able to save any new user generated routes and I'm wondering if it is because I have 29 routes already saved and that is the limit ? I have tried to find where I can delete some of the routes that I no longer use but cannot find anywhere to do so .
