Hi all, I am getting started at geocaching and have already found a couple of easy ones. I see a few things that I might need like a trail bag, wasp spray, extra batteries, gloves, etc. Perhaps some of you veteran cachers can summarize your list starting with the type of bag you use and listing what you carry in it. Hi all, For those of you geocachers with a 76S, I have a question. Are there multi part caches that require a cacher to find the first part by coordinates and the next part by a distance combined with the direction in degrees? If so, is the 76S able to accomplish this--I have tried to figure this out to no avail. Thanks in advance, John

Hi everyone, A friend told me about geocaching and I thought it would be a great outdoor activity with my daughter. I bought a GPSMAP 76S and am now a premium member. I want to be able to download the appropriate programs so that I may put the waypoints either into my gps or palm--preferably my gps and I am a bit confused as to which program or programs to use. I searched the forums for this info but there are only 5000+ entries here so I humbly ask for assistance. Also if you have any tips or suggestions that will make my startup easier or more enjoyable please feel free to post or email me directly. Thanks in advance, John
