  1. Just to start my reply with a a couple of questions. First, is it possible they found the cache under another name or as a team? I have seen cachers go back and relog caches under their new names when they were part of a team. They found it an signed the log at that time didn't they? That being said this game is built on honesty and if you feel they are being dishonest then by all means delete the logs. I really wouldn't put much effort into tracking down signatures though. I have enough things to worry about to really bother with an armchair cacheR though. TheMcMorrows
  2. Hey we have a local guy over in Afghanistan right now. FugeFinders is away serving our country while his wife is working tirelessly away as the ombudsman of the unit while taking care of their own 3 kids. So I nominate FUGEFINDERS. Good Luck to all that are nominated
  3. I see the cache that was located by the garbage dumpster got ALOT of negative comments and this caused the CO to disable it and they will probably eventually ARCHIVE this hide. The issue I have with this hide is not the hide itself but rather the plethora of negative comments. There was nothing in the WCM rules that said we HAD TO FIND EVERY CACHE ON THE MAP. If people had issues with it they should have just left it for another day (and some did). This is not the first time I have found caches near a stinky dumpster. I have found caches located in rockwalls with drug paraphenilia scattered about. I also located caches near human excrement. So this hide didnt upset me as much as some. I take it more of a challenge to finding it. Am I going to complain about a cache that is 30ft underwater? How about a cache that is a 5 terrain and I can't rock climb? I am actually disappointed in the cachers that posted the negative comments that caused this CO to remove their cache. I can only hope that CO of this cache replaces it and lets it go. It was a good hide other then the stink of the garbage and grease pit near by. Happy Caching, TheMcMorrows
  4. A lid was found and it was replaced. Just an FYI as well, the tunnel that was closed a few years back for safety reasons will once again be open this spring/summer and there will be another APE EVENT to help celebrate that. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC2Q7MF. Also this cache was adopted by WSGA and is still a very active cache.
  5. Assisted Fugefinders in trying to locate #18 and we have come to the conclusion that 1 of 3 things happened. 1. Someone has found it already and not logged it, 2. It's been muggled, or 3. The coords are off. We have spent almost 2 hours looking for it with 3 people looking. Hopefully we can get a quick verification of the coords to rule that out. We even looked on the opposite side of the river. We came out not more then 90 minutes after it was posted this morning.
