  1. Does anyone have a place to send garmin 60CSx for repair of buttons that don't respond? Garmin doesn't do them any more and from what I see on youtube it just needs some soldering of the wires. any help would be appreciated
  2. anyone can tell me how to get the scripts to stop running on all the pages? currently whenever I open a cache page I have to wait up to a minute to get the banner at the bottom to stop the scripts from running. Is this new, or am I missing a easy fix for this? thanks FAH-Troop
  3. I don't seem to be able to print the lists of caches that I generate with the "new Search" that was one of the best things I could do with the old search, some of us still believe in hard copy and don't have the latest greatest 'apps' or smart phones to use for this. Hope you guys get the message and try and get this thing to work or get rid of it! FAH-Troop
  4. I have to agree, I tried to look up a cache that I knew existed but even when I entered a current cache that was current a big DNF so lets get back to the search that worked!
  5. I have to agree with all the other cachers that don't like the new way the search is presented. I was going through my GPS and finding the codes that are disabled or achieved. the new search doesn't say if a code is achieved like the old search used to. It just tells me that a nearby code is so many feet/miles away but doesn't say anything about the code I entered. used to at least take me to the page and then I can see what happened. Now I can't find any info on the old code or at least not with any way as easy as the old method used to be. The old way was comfortable and easy enough, what the heck froggie!

  7. I want to thank you for your help, it got my brain thinking outside the box and break up the cobwebs. Also I appreciate the lack of 'tude as you might have noticed on another post I got.
  8. I have come across some recent puzzles that show pictures as a clue to solve for the coordinates. I have checked the source of the pictures(view source) but that has been no help. Is there anyone out there that could point me in the right direction on how to translate pictures into numbers. I have seen some comments that say you have to have some mindreading ability to get into the head of the cache owner. Or maybe I'm out of sync with some current social norm?!?. Thanks for any help. 9. OK now its doing it on both my office and home computer where the home computer wasn't and that is the more updated version of IE. So is this some page set up thing I need to look at since you can't see what it is that's happening on my end. Would appreciate any direction as to where I need to look, Thanks!

  11. I print from the first page of the cache using the printer up in the right hand corner, with the arrow down to print and then a new window shows up on the left hand side and I choose printing just the first page. The browser is internet explorer. I like printing the first page because it shows the distance from homebase and the print friendly version doesn't have that. Thanks for any help
  12. Now that I have the option to choose my langauge when I print the page from the windows page it will print the different langauges before the info I really want on the page. And there have been times it doesn't print but I can't figure out how to keep that from showing up on my print outs. any help will be appreciated. FAH troop
  13. I did find that using the print preview allows me to print the page as I see it on the scene. I use the distance from my home coordinates to sort the caches into one area. Maybe it's just a glich on my computer. thanks anyway.
  14. I used to be able to print the page of a log I was viewing no problem, now it says that it creates a problem with explorer and shuts down. I can print using the print under the coordinates but that isn't as informative as the page I was looking at. IF this is something that goecaching has changed I DON"T LIKE IT!!!!! Any suggestions how to get around it?
  15. Yup logged in a should be but still no mileage
  16. I've noticed that there used to be a line for miles from your home location, lately there is no distance line below the coordinate line, what happened?
