  1. Mine just recently broke, too. But none of the apparently usual fixes are working for me. The error message I get in MapSource is "Windows cannot find 'C:/Program Files (x86)/Google/Gocgle Eaith/cIient\gpsbabel.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." gpsbabel.exe is in the directory. Further suggestions?
  2. Thanks, everyone, for your replies. Maybe Garmin's listening and will give us custom symbols for the 400.
  3. Is there a way to increase the size of the geocache symbol that appears on the Oregon 400T? I can barely see them!
  4. Zolgar, have you tried posting a message on the Arizona Virtual Jeep Club site < http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/ >? They have members all over Arizona and are usually very willing to help with situations such as this.
  5. Well, let me add my voice to those who are disappointed to see this go away. Paperless caching is not only very convenient, it's, well, paperless. Please find a new, one-step way to give us those cache descriptions and logs for our PDAs and such. Heck, I'd be happy with a simple text file.
  6. I was having the same problem, but fixed it by clicking on the right thing in Google Earth before saving the KML file. From my reading of the instructions, I thought I was supposed to right-click on the first direction in the list. Instead, you should right-click on the very first entry in the list; the one that shows overall route. So, when I created a route from Mayer, Arizona, to Prescott, Arizona, the correct entry to click on is the one that reads, "Mayer, Arizona to Prescott, Arizona," not the one that says, "Head southwest from Old Sycamore Rd." Step 4 in the instructions on how to create and save the KML file could be clearer. You know what they say the problem with making things idiot-proof is: idiots are so darn ingenious. Hope that helps.
