  1. "Sing as if no one were listening, dance as if no one was watching, and live each day as if it were your last." I live each day this way at it keeps me grounded.
  2. It was such a nice gesture this morning that I really did not know what to say or how to say my thanks. Isn't just great that we have such great people. I think the Y.A.A.S is very clever and the letter will remain with the coin. I am so blessed to have met such nice people!

  6. I am new to this and have not purchased any coins as of yetl My quesion is that I have hears stories about people stealing the coins and then reselling them Making then no good. How do I go about finding just a couple cheap coins other then the big dealers to have a couple in my own collections. The coins tend to run expensive and for thos of us without PayPal we are limited....and suggestions? Your hell would be great as these coins are a gift to my nine year old nephew who got me started in caching.
  7. The two coins I would dearly love to have are the Alaska Bear and the Alaska Moose....either metal is fine...if anyone has those I would love to know. Course at this point and time I would just love to have one of my very own to save and start a collection.
  8. Not knowing you but knowing that I really want that coin...I am gonna tell you what I think would a good gun to have...hopefully it is your favorite. I personally am going to say a 300 Weatherby, this is what I use and I am a chick...I brought down a moose with it two years ago that scored 45 inches. For inland griz in alaska how about a Weatherby 30-378 big gun I know but big bear! I live in Montana and we use all sorts of weapons but my all time favorite to take on the four wheeler or even a gopher gun is my lever action marlin 30-30. I know these are prolly not what your thinking but hey..a girl has to brag.....
  9. Okay I a going with my second guess being jellly beans and the third being patatoe chips of all varieties.
  10. Hey Hey..there is nothing better on a hot summer day than an old fashioned CHERRY COKE...its gotta be the real thing thing though. Coca Cola makes a good one especially if they do a special promo were its in the old glass bottles...if not..you have to get it at Norms News..the last traditional Soda Fountain in North West Montana,..ummmm

  16. Great coin, I owe my geo caching success to my nine year old little love of my life Colten. This is something that just him and I do. We love the coins and are trying to get our own collection!
  17. Thank you for making such a great contest. I am writing in memory of my mom Mary who passed away at Christmas from a brain anuerism. We had no idea. She was a avid outdoors person and loved geocaching, hunting, camping. etc. However this just means so much to me because my mama was a wonderfull carring women she and my father adopted children. Went on to raise a grandchild, and unfortunately she passed before she could see the last one grow up. She had such a huge faith in our Lord and it is very helpfull to me to know she is in heaven watching as I cache. I generally cache by myself, and having a contest coin that I could dip with me were I went would be like caching with my mom again. Mom loved from here heart, she shared from her heart, and she will forever be in MY heart! Thanks for a great contest!
  18. Yes I would love some! Thanks contact me at my user profile
  19. I am Misty from Montana, I have recently started caching and have over 126 caches finally which does not seem like much but I have done them in a month and a half.. I was wondering if anyone had any cheap cheap cheap coins for sale. I cache with my nine year old nephew who lives with me and we are both in love with geo coins but hate the way people steal em. So we decided to post on here to see if someone would be willing to deal. If your interested let me know. We absolutely love these coins and have already become addicted. We love all the caches that are out in the woods and you hike to! I am glad to meet you all and hope to do some coin swapping or something! Sincerly and much thanks, Misty and Colten! Contact me through my username if you have some coins or want to work out a trade!
  20. Well nothing major came in my mail box today. I was hoping for the lottery but we all know how that would be. HOwever I hope to find some coins soon and be able to purchase them! Then I will have a wonderful surprise in my mailbox.
  21. Great idea for a contest. I am currently in college at UoP and unfortunately I have not encountered any great instructors. However one comes to mind. I was in the third grade and her name was Mrs Connie Mcfarland and she was at the school in Columbia falls Montana. She not only taught the general classes but she taught us about being responsible children at the age of 9 years old. For many years I have kept in contact with her, later on I had made such an impression that she hired me to take care of her sick mother. I miss her more then a lot of people I have lost in my life. Connie and my mom who passed away at Christmas were the most influencial teachers in my life and they are both gone now. My mother taught me that I had to work harder then any of the other students but for the most part I wasn't in her class for that reason. Regardless though she taught me how to be strong, and how to cope with her loss. These two women made a huge impact in my life and they are both gone now. I would love to have something to remember them by. BigSkyGeoBuggers
