  1. Yes, that is the same one. It seems GC have done something about it, since his finds are gone and also his logs from my caches. Thanks for the quick answers and solution!
  2. Hi, I have spam logs on three of my mystery caches - they are copy and paste from a 2 month old profile with over 10k founds advertising a site where final coordinates are written. And three of them on each cache. I deleted them today but apparently they are renewed by some bot. What would you suggest to do? Greetings, Fluppo
  3. Thanks all - I used the method of deleting all, thinking I will just put the needed ones new :-)). I would never have looked into reset option !
  4. Hi all , after I delete the caches out of my Oregon, there are still all the waypoint - how can I delete them too ? I mean other than deleting them one by one in the wayponint manager, since the memory os already full of those. I would like to let about 5 of the waypoints which I marked in. Hope for your help :-)) Fluppo
  5. AHA!!! Thank you dfx and fizzymagic for the explanation! I always though to go "down under" l have to go down (= south). l did follow your advice and look it on Google Earth. I am amazed - to go down (south) I have to go up (north) first! To me it sounds like magic ! Thank you again for explanation, l am happy to have learnt something new today !
  6. Yes we did consider that GSAK may have it right but it would be pretty weird ... since we only have caches in Europe and Australia, but the Centroid is somewhere over exUSSR but more north than any of our found caches ... but I will try to ask on the GSAK forum :-)
  7. Jump, search for something (wood, bag ... ) to reach it, throw a stone so it will fall down, be angry on the unfair cache setting, be happy I have at least a one team member with me.
  8. Apart from that it is veeery important for my curiosity, it was a mistake of my browser and I did not found a delete button, so have no way to reduce it to a normal number .
  9. Hi all ! My centroid was allways nice and tidy in my stats until I cached down under. Since then my centroid is on wrong place - it is correct in West-East direction, but it seems to count the aussie caches as if they would have a North coordinates. How can I get GSAK and FindStatGen3 to count it correctly ? Cheers, Fluppo
  10. Hi all. As I download a Multicache I can sometimes also waypoints of the stages of the Cache. I am puzzled by this - the purpose of a Multi is to find out the Stages by solving some quests, but the Waypoints show the Locations of the Stages on the Map before I solve the quests for coordinates. So I had an idea the waypoints will be used by my gps in some way - but i could not find anything else, than having them on the map. I tried to search FAQ and knowledge base, but I found only how do I put waypoints to my own cache. Can I use the waypoints in some way (other than spoilers on the map) ???
  11. Thank you for your answers and your patience. It seems I cannot really describe what my problem is - I know how to switch between map and description and I do not find using my GPS too timely because of changing the screens. My issue is - there are waypoints included by multicache - what is then the reason they are included ? I do get the coordinates of the stages anyway by solving the quest along the stages, right? So other than being on the map, are the waypoints - to which I have to find coordinates myself - in any way useful ? I love doing multis and I am in no way complaining about them - I just would like to know why the waypoints are not part of Cache ???
  12. Yes, that would be great - but to me happens following: 1. I go to "Find a geocage", choose one Multiple, can route to it and read Description and Hints. 2. I go to Stage one, solve the coordinates of Stage 2. 3. I go to "Find another" -> "Coordinates" and tip in the coordinates of Stage 2 - on the Map I see that they are same to the Waypoint that was downloaded with the Cache. 4. As I come to Stage 2 I go to look the description, but I have to repeat Step one - so I have to stop navigating to the Stage 2 and start Navigating to the Cache to be able to look the Description. What I imagined would be the good use of waypoint is following - I choose a Multiple Cache, and as I go throught all the stages I just tip in the Coordinates and Garmin will 'Update' navigating to the Cage - so that I will not lose the routing to the coordinates of Stage xx, if I want to read the Description.
  13. I guess I may be missing something - When I download a cage I can see the additional waypoints. Since those are to find out after a riddle I put them via "find another" - "coordinates". But in this moment it stops to show the informations to the cage. Is there a way on Garmin Oregon to navigate to the waypoint while still having the Cage Informations available ? Thanks for the help :-))
  14. Thanks - you were right this were some caches loaded using SendToGPS. I did not know the difference . Now I do all using saving the files and it works perfectly . Thank you for your help, I was desperate .
  15. Hi all, when I copy my pocket query into my Oregon by most of the Caches the description shows also HTML Code from the GC Page - so by Multicaches often most of the description is missing ! How can I get the description without those html ocdes in Oregon? Thanks Fluppo
