  1. You are a Premium Member. Request a Pocket Query. Load it to the Etrex. Get a PDA. Load it to the PDA. There isn't any reason to manually write any coords down. Ummm ....... what's a PDA?
  2. I downloaded geocaches on a Garmin Nuvi260 and it gets me very close to the cache, which is very cool, but it doesn't show the actual coordinates of the caches. I also have a hand held Garmin E-trex Legend. Is there an easy way to view the coordinates of the caches you wish to check out in a batch form (instead of viewing each cache site individually and manually writing the coordinates down?) Hope this post makes sense. I'm new here.
  3. Just like everything else I do ... I expect to be an expert on the first try, and when I fail, I get discouraged. That's where my stubborness becomes an asset because I won't give up and eventually I'll find my very first cache! Thanks for all of encouragement.
  4. I am brand new to geo-caching and have had nothing but disappointment on my first adventures . I live off of I-5 in Northern CA and every geo-cache site I've visited has either been trash ridden, private property, or the neighbors are too scary for me to get out of my car and investigate the area for fear of them calling the cops, sicking their dog on me, or pulling out their shotgun. I need advice from experienced cachers in the areas from Sacramento CA to Yreka and beyond (you who now the mentality) to advise me on where the reliable areas are for caching. I live in the Redding area. Thank You
