  1. I'm searching high and low for my glasses to be able to read the print on the puzzle. I'm thinking the Birdy(s) have eaten too many carrots if they can read it... I think Xy has the right idea, give it to some young eyes to solve...
  2. Excellent idea! Yes the Birdy(s) finally joined the high speed internet set, but have they got cell phones yet? Yeah, didn't think so. So since the drive to Winthrop would be a little long, I offer up my place. I would be willing to make coffee and hide the kids, but I can't vouch for the dog, he'll still sniff your crotch and you'll leave with some "hairy" souveniers. Edit: I have WiFi if I didn't make that clear. I also have animals...2 legged and 4 legged...
  3. Sat the 18th in the evening works better for me. I keep reading that as goose a hawks....
  4. The reference to "the gals" was to the "Misses" (Innocent, Chievous, Contrary), not to you. I apologize for misunderstanding your post. In the past we (the Cache-cadians)have been known to banter and tease, especially if some of us are known to be out of town. I assumed (obviously incorrectly and not to be repeated) that this was the case. Congratulations on your 100 FTF's. I understand you will be going to Austria as well and will obtain a milestone. Congratulations in advance.
  5. Wha..huh? Believe it or not, they have computers down here in Kennewick and we can access the I N T E R N E T. First off, congratulations to Patudles for making her 1600. Secondly, I'm too busy in my life to have an alterego or is that an alterAYGO? We will be home tonight and will be happily logging all our finds until dawn. It's a beautiful day down here, in the upper 40's, darn near shorts weather!
  6. I'm gonna get one hidden OUTSIDE of my house one of these days... But if any of you decided to come over and check out my lab...you'd have firsties for a long time coming! Got a gazillion things on my plate and I'm trying to simplify my life, so maybe I'll hide them all in one week and then call it a year. Or maybe just give the coords for my garage, then once a cache is found by everyone, archive it and "rehide" a new cache in the same place to be found for the next month! Of course, you'll be expected to clean out the area and put stuff away in it's proper place before you can get to the cache... AHA! By cracky, I think I'm onto something!
  7. Psssst...Stumpy.... Apple Blossom last weekend of April through 1st weekend of May.... Weekend of the April 8th super awesome... the 2nd-4th weekends in May super duper awesome
  8. Actually, what was really scary was seeing how nudecacher was trying to use it The scariest thought was how he was going to use T-Roll's cache container in his photo...
  9. Criminey, you people are quite verbose. I go a way for a little while and you start filling pages upon pages of yammering on, these old eyes can only focus for so long. I will try to condense my answers to one post... Yeah, what he said. Slow down slick, I need to catch up first. Welcome back ZB's. You folks need to come up here and take a load off and do some of these crazy puzzle caches that have become an infestation in the area. You would have one very fat, snoring, hairy, drooling, stupid looking pain in the a-- dog. Wait, I HAVE that already, it may be an improvement... It's because we are too busy trying to figure out these blasted puzzle caches that have been popping up! Some are dry BETWEEN the ears... ROAD TRIP!!!! I'M DRIVING!!!!! Coffee place in StartUp <not the Windmill one, (that one is in Sultan)> on the north side of the road. To verify the right place, It has a small boat they have converted to a flower planter in the parking lot and there is the front end of a car on the east side of the building. The lady's name is Vicky. I swear we looked in the rocks too. I think we ought to get credit since we (I) got rid of a TON of spiders (did I mention I HATE spiders?) looking for that darned thing. I was asleep from Everett to Stevens Pass. I can get pretty cranky, but i'm pretty harmless when I'm sleeping. Wow, that's a whole new level even I have attained. Thank you Donna, we have a lot of fun poking fun at each other over here. Come hang out with us and we'll start poking at you too!
  10. Wonder what's taking so long? Did you hide it by the police station? "BY" the police station? Heck, it's probably inside as a key holder on the bars, you know, her usual corner cell...
  11. I nominate my 15 yr olds bedroom... I think Jimmy Hoffa may even be in there...
  12. Belated congrats to the milestoners...heheheh, I like that term.... Happy New Year from rainy NorCal, we'll be home (hopefully) by Tuesday assuming of course freeways reopen. Gadget, you know better than to leave such a wide open door. Nav, you are as close to an expert in our area, we'll suck you dry of your knowledge and then spit you out...resistance is futile, Muahahahaha...!!!!! Welcome to the newcomers, go get busy and find some and then get even busier hiding!!!!
  13. Very funny, I'm out of the area and you hid a new cache? Fine, I hid yours down here in Eugene...no maybe Sacramento...ooo wait...DANA POINT. Come and get it... Muahahahahaha Merry Christmas all. My wishes to all: a year of fully charged batteries, fast satellite aquistions, dry cache containers and a full tank of gas. Robin
  14. <thwap> You know, it's a good thing your wife is a nurse too, someone (me) might have to hurt you...
  15. PEPPER'S coming so I have requested the weekend off and promised my 2nd born into indentured servitude to go to my FIRST CM. The only reason I would be amiss would be my own death, and even then I probably would show up! Can't wait, any heads up on accomodations would be greatly appreciated.
  16. I already have a list the length of my arm that I need to get to, don't make come out of hibernation and hurt you!
  17. There are some great cachers in the Wenatchee area hook up with some of them and you won't go wrong. Just watch the Birch Mountian crowd & that is all I'm saying. Monte, you are more than welcome to hook up with any of us, we are a rather fun, albeit, slightly crazy group. If you want the inside scoop on any of the local cachers, be sure to talk to me. For example... Patudles...you have to watch out for, she's pretty sneaky, don't let the sweet "gramma" image fool you... Ambrosia, may be a little too nice and not give you enough dirt on everyone, but I think that may be her M.O to lull us into trusting her. Gadget ...well I can't say in a public forum the things MANY of us have said about him in regards to his hides and Nav...well, he's got the numbers but he's getting a little too cozy with Gadget and I fear some of the bad habits could rub off. XY, well now that he's stuck behind a desk, he's an OK guy, no more pajama parties without the Mrs (AKA: Xx's) permission. But now we have the G-people who are the latest trouble makers. But as far as the "Birch Mountain Crowd"... nicest folks you'll ever meet.
  18. I just got an interesting phone call from one of our favorite cachers best known for her very sneaky and mischeivous hides. Seems she's caching away east of us and the long arm of the law came out to see what she was up to. ... Maybe she should start batting her eyes and proclaiming her innocence... I'm awaiting another call, thinking I may have to come and bail her out of the hoosegow in Ritzville! Maybe we should take up a collection!!
  19. Ok, the Birch Mountian camp has to speak up. Here I am, putting in a hard days work saving lives, toiling over puke, catheters & screaming patients in pain (none of this is true, but it sounds good) and I check in to see my name being bandied about in the forum!! I must weigh in on the convo here... 1) I can't lie, I am a horrible liar. I could never get away with lying for the same reason I cannot play poker, you would see it on my face in a minute! 2) Ambrosia must spend umpteen hours trolling for new avatars, it's kinda fun to see what she's coming up with next but I'm not sure what the old WC has to do with anything... I tried to find a new one for me, but didn't think GC would appreciate boobs...well maybe they would... 3) Gadget, what are you doing trolling on the computer all day? A notice pops up and you jump over and see whats going on? Don't you have some evil cache to make now that the potatoes are in? 4) Nav, you know what they say about confidence. I believe on many occasions Ambrosia and Patudles have used the same computer and have forgotten to sign off before the next signs on thereby giving anyone who goes into the forum the next time on that computer, the wrong avatar if they post a message. I understand there is more than 1 person in her household. Perhaps one of them jumped on? 5) Mmmm....hamster nuts.... -R-
  20. Holes in your theory my friend. 1) Miss Innocent FOUND Miss Chevious's hide, not the other way around. 2) I was no where around the Entiat Valley at the time it was hidden, I was in SoCal walking my poor feet off for boobies and didn't get home until the 19th. 3) I'm a little miffed that there was a hide up there and I was close by with NormBev/K-Did on the 24th doing Keystone/360, but the cache wasn't even published until the 25th. 4) Per dictionary.com, Contrary; "Opposed, as in character or purpose". Doesn't that sound like 1 person with these names? I mean, innocent and mischevious at the same time? I guess we could call her/him Sybil.... As far as going to get it, give me time, I am lumping all my caching for 1 area, not a hit here and there...gas is pricey in my rig. I'm over the FTF thing, let the g-people make the runs and grab them. I'll go after a nice geo-trail has formed! Oh, what do you mean a fitting name???
  21. Thank you Nick, I did post (after much translation) to that forum. I sent a Yellow Jeep last year to Austria, so who knows what will happen next year. Perhaps they will be Red? Robin
  22. My daughter is currently an exchange student in Bulle, CH. She has NO interest in geocaching. I thought it would be nice to send a White Jeep (which happens to be my name) from "home" to a cacher near her so she knows how much this sport means to her mother and how geocachers are really one big family. Please let me know if you are interested in this endeavor. Thanks/Merci Robin
  23. Oh you SO KNOW I'm printing this up and taking it to work for her! Hope the couch is comfortable!!
  24. Oh great, now I'll never remember his or his wife's name! I mean heck, I'd like to change my geonick, but that's the only way I remember who Iam! Hey Tudles, the no fanfare thing didn't pan out did it.
  25. Believe me, I'll be the first to be calling all of you to go caching! I love caching with others. After pairing up with Tudles, I have a real hard time striking out on my own, it's just not as much fun without a friend. Besides, the more eyes the better. I don't mind driving at all, as long as there is a find at the end of the road... and if that road needs 4x4, this "city girl" is more than willing to grab it! As evidenced by the torture (resulting in various creaks and rattles...some of which my husband is not too pleased by) I've put my Tahoe (AKA: the rolling barcalounger) through. Sad, but I've stopped dreaming of that new Mercedes I lusted after for about 10 years to a Jeep with a "lift kit, big fat knarley mud tires and a winch". Oh my friends back home are thinking I need an intervention!
