  1. Yes. Physical caches logged 3rd, 4th, 5th.
  2. I had the same issue, and like others here have been having issues with the "Newest" filter for weeks now. Showing oldest first, events, furthest first, etc. Is there an anticipated date by which this will be resolved?
  3. Thanks. I forgot to mention - the waypoint list is also missing! I did try that...the corrected coords are not there.
  4. Hello, Today while out caching, I experienced strange behavior in the app. I had solved several puzzles yesterday, and entered corrected coords on their cache pages (gc.com from computer, not through app). In the app, the caches appear in the correct (e.g. corrected coords) location, with the icon to indicate that there are corrected coords. When I tap on the cache from the map screen, it shows the correct distance to the corrected coords; however, after tapping onto the cache page and hitting "navigate", it was reverting to the distance/location of the uncorrected coords. I exited the app and rebooted my phone (Pixel 4), but the behavior persisted. I've never had this happen before. Any ideas what's causing this, and/or how to fix it? Thanks, Gayle
  5. I just started having this problem within the past week, seemingly for no particular reason, but now it's happening wow consistently. Very frustrating.
  6. As it turns out, no, I did not. Now that it's set up correctly, it works just fine! Had it set for generic GPSr, which had worked for years with my GPSMap 60CSx. Thanks!
  7. Just bought a 64S. Was able to remove the preloaded caches, but cannot use GSAK to "Send". The only way I'm able to get caches onto unit right now is by exporting a .ggz and drag/dropping it into the GGZ folder on the Garmin. Am I missing something?
  8. What I want is the exact same functionality that exists for navigating to the original waypoint. Sometimes parking isn't that close to the cache, and when navigating it would be more helpful to go straight to the child waypoint.
  9. Just started using the gc.com Android app. Have navigated successfully to cache coords, but am wondering if there is a way to navigate instead to additional waypoints (e.g. parking)? If not, is this planned for the future? I have searched the forums and see that waypoints not associated with a cache can't be entered, but child waypoints *are* associated with a cache, and I can see them in the app (just can't figure out how to navigate to them). Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
  10. Feel free to give me a holler if you have any issues getting set up once you have your Pre! The biggest problem was that all the info I needed for the various things that had to be done wasn't found in a single place - I had to hunt around to figure out the steps to do, then work through actually doing them. I never even considered trying to download straight to the phone (but I'll sure give it some thought now!). I love GSAK, and process all my queries through it. I was basically trying to replicate my current process, but using the Pre instead of my Z31. So I load my query into GSAK, then use USB transfer to get the data into CacheMate on the Pre. MotionApps is working on HotSync, and it will be supported in an upcoming version. I can access the GPS data on the Pre directly using a hash code (lots of info on precentral.net). There are a couple homebrew apps for caching, but I just finally got to a place where I have the ability to load homebrew apps over the weekend. So I haven't yet loaded them in and tried them. I never really intended to use the phone as a GPSr though - I love my 60CSx too much!
  11. OK, I am now totally set. It is important to enter your HotSyncID PRIOR to installing CacheMate. Once I hard reset, entered HotSyncID, reloaded CacheMate, I was good to go. Still had to enter my registration code, but this time it was accepted.
  12. I lied! I am easily able to get the TRIAL version of CacheMate working, but when I went to "register" it, ran into trouble. I am aware of the HotSync ID in Classic, and have entered my original HotSync name into it. I contacted Smittyware, and got pretty much a canned response that I should be able to do this. I'm in ongoing conversations with MotionApps, and will try a hard reset of Classic today (then enter HotSync ID, reload Cachemate, and try again). Has anyone else had trouble "registering" Cachemate in Classic on the Pre? Any tips/tricks? Thanks, Gayle
  13. I tote my 60CSx along on all trail races/marathons/ultras. Either clip it to the belt (and also 'biner it - don't underestimate the need for this as the screw-in insert for the GPSr that allows it to be clipped can and will come out - just happened to me at a race this past Saturday - glad to have the 'biner for backup!), or pop it into the top of the pack and let the antenna poke out the top.
  14. OK, I'm good now! The missing link was understanding that the .prc and .pdb files could be manually transferred to the phone in lieu of the HotSync (though I'll be looking forward to when they get HotSync supported).
  15. Thanks. I understand that you HAVE to use the Classic emulator to run Cachemate, I also understand that the 3P app will be updated to support HotSync. What I am trying to figure out is how to use Cachemate with the current version of Classic (e.g. no HotSync). I think I've found the info I need (you connect phone to computer via USB and manually transfer the .prc app and .pdb files to a special folder) and if so I will post it later. Or maybe everyone but me already knows this...so a post wouldn't help anyone! Sorry for having this in two different posts...

  17. I'm aware of the Classic emulator, but believe I read that HotSync isn't supported. If someone actually using Cachemate on the Pre via the Classic emulator could post specific steps to follow to make it work, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks, Gayle
  18. Just got my Pre today. Am hesitant to get the Classic Emulator b/c I read somewhere that you can't HotSync, and I think you need to be able to HotSync to use CacheMate. Is anyone actually using Emulator/CacheMate with the Pre? Thanks in advance for any help.
  19. Wish I had seen this before today, as I was home last Sunday (~2 miles from the DARK park), not busy, and need to do this cache! Darn!
  20. Nope, must have hung up somewhere though. I have it now, but it took nearly 2 hours to come through. Thanks!
  21. My query said it ran more than an hour ago and I don't have it. The last time I remember this happening was at Labor Day. Something got hung up on the gc.com server (or something) - anyway - there was a root cause. I need my PQ for a trip I'm leaving for less than 8 hours from now - hope it gets fixed.
