  1. When the distance between caches is short, the distance at the logs is not updated, but the total is. At least that is what I see. It does not matter if I wait for a day or so. The last distance of my TB was over 4700 miles, so the problem is obviously of different kind:( Wondering whether it may be caused by note I have inserted as a log entry...
  2. Anyone still having problem with this? Our TB is not calculating the last move:( Recalculate distance not working:( http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2194884
  3. You are right, I have checked the satelite page during the flight - it was showing altitude about 10,000m while while elevation plot and other features were indicating about 2,500m. Bad luck if barometer can't be disabled:((( Otherwise it would provide perfect review of the flight..
  4. Hi guys! I would be pleased if someone can advice me... When on board of an air craft, barometric altimeter is an issue because the pressure in the plane is much higher than ambient. ... So barometer distorts the data about altitude. Is there a way to disable it and to measure altitude only with the use of satelites?
  5. There was even a plastic tag simply describing my GC's goal:( But even if you don't understand it you ... grab it... and release it. I guess Gitchee-Gummee is right - it might be forgotten in a bag's pocket.
  6. Can't believe it's that easy! Thank you all! I'll try it right away:)
  7. Hi, is it possible to get the html tags out of a cahce listing in Garmin Oregon 300? Or even better learn Oregon to read them? Many thanks!
  8. Thanks guys! I'll try to be even more patient. And when all the patience is gone, I'll try to contact someone in the cacher's area... Cheers!
  9. Hi, I would like to ask if there is anything to do when my GC (http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2316254) is stuck in someone's hands for almost four months. I have already contacted the user, and politely asked to release it, but there was no answer:(
  10. Thanks for reply! One more thing.. When I place my TB somewhere and take it out, should i write IN: TB OUT: TB or is it better not to mention it?
  11. Hi, I have received my first TB and I am planning to send it out... We are going to go to Scandinavia and not marking this journey in TB's history would seem as a missed chance... I thought of putting it for a while in a cache here in Czech Republic and than taking it to a cache or two in Sweden and Denmark and leaving it there.. BUT: I am not sure if this is in order with GC etiquette. I don't want to be cheating:( Is this practice alright? Is there anyone who have done it this way? Do you have a link to a TB which was started this way? Thanks a lot in advance for your reactions!
