I can conclude from reading the logs that there is a lot of newbies out there enjoying the great sport that is geocaching. Try VICTIM OF MISPLACED DISPLACEMENT GC241JW It's one of mine and has been a fun cache for me as all I do is laugh at the logs while others get wet.

As I live about a mile from Merrions Wood I would be more than happy to adopt it.

I purchased the Oregon 300 about two weeks ago and I am pleased with it. Ok the screen is not the brightest out of the box, the default setting needs adjusting to improve things then it is ok. Battery life is a bit of an issue but just use rechargeables. The touch screen is great and you do not need to refer to the manual very often to operate most functions. I say go ahead and buy one you will be pleased you did.

My Etrex H which is boxed and as new is looking for a new home. This little beauty is less that three months old and is in perfect condition. Why am I selling you ask? I purchased this GPS to dip my toe in the water as they say, and I was hooked so I upgraded to a new Oregon 300. I do not want my Etrex to go to a dusty shelf and get forgotten. So if you want a cheap entry level GPS then look no further. I am located in Birmingham UK and would prefer buyer to collect. The price a measly £60.
