  1. I'd rather have my kids find this than some of that religious crap that gets put in caches.
  2. Anyone else interested in adding to the $300 bounty mentioned earlier in the thread? I think if we pooled our interest, folks both with the larger corps (Garmin, Magellen, EasyGPS) might take OS X more seriously, and it also would encourage small developers to put time into a product we'd all find really useful.
  3. Well, I can't afford to throw in $300 on my own, being a poor med student and all, but I'll certainly put some of my money on the table, too. I'll add $20 for anyone who provides software meeting the first set of the original criteria, and $20 more if the Open Source requirements are met. Sure, its not too much, but wouldn't you rather have $340 than $300?
  4. As a mac-only person, seeing this develop warms my heart! The folks at EasyGPS are adamant about their "no-Macs, no-Linux" policy, even though a porting effort would be trivial. With this and Mac SimpleGPS coming down the pipeline, mac users are finally in luck. I'm starting to think that with a new iMac coming, OS X 10.2 due soon, and Garmin finally supporting USB with their Rino series, I might finally be coming into the 21st century with my geocaching!
