The only issue I have had with my Meridian Gold is the overshoot. I have found that when you get to within 50 feet of "where it is supposed to be", just stop. The algorithm used will usually estimate a bit behind and you will end up backtracking. Several cache finds in the past week have shown me to be 40+ feet away from the cache when I find it. Just something to be aware of when out in the field. I have suspected this to be from using other GPSr types. Food for thought...

Similar find today at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. While searching for the third leg of a multi-cache, I found my first letter box cache. Emailed the person who had re-placed the box 3 weeks earlier, had no idea a geocache was nearby. Funny part is that the spot is obvious for a geocacher and the both are within a short distance of one another.

During an event cache, while searching for a nearby cache we found a bit of a surprise. The used applicator and er. business end of a certain hygiene product. Yes, it was gross considering the trash can 10 feet away!
