  1. Guys, this is great, but I ment the location of the actual cache. Have a look at my link and you might get a better Idea.
  2. I think the OP is talking about cache locations, not containers, based on what they wrote: "locations, or cache that they have been to" You Are right

  4. I have made this forum so that all the cachers can tell us about their favorite locations, or cache that they have been to. My personal favorite is Hook Line and sinker Hook Line and sinker by Alibags neer Ivinghoe Beacon. But I want to hear about you.
  5. Just one more question, could you use it in the middle of knowwere?
  6. Hi all. I saw one of the adds on the main site and wondered if anyone actually used it. If so: 1, Would you recomend it? 2, Do you have to use the internet to use the app? 3, Were did you buy it? Thanks for any help.
  7. Hi I would prefer my TB's to go to a cache that is well viseted, but not in a place that is to open to muggles. Hemel Staggers had one that was in the same place for three months. That was highly annoying.
  8. Hi tim. When I first started caching I had exactly the same problem as you. One of my friennds told me pritty much what has been stated ubove. If I could give you some advise it would be to gain some expierience with larger caches and then retry these micros/nanos. Good luck. James the 1st.
  9. I wouldn't have suggested the csx 60 if I'd known the transition price, but if you can find a way of getting a bit more money I would strongly recomend it. I find that it adds to the fun not knowing exactly were you are going. It has got a basic mapping service but only basic! If you consider this GPS and want maps I think they are around £60.00
  10. I agree, there are plenty of ways this can be dissused without bieng unkind, we must all respect eachother, and everyones views. Back to the topic, there find to hide ratio is a bit irregular, and personaly I belive a bit more expierience should be gained before hiding.
  11. [Now that you got me intrigued, what kind of timeline are we looking at? If you don't mind a wait of a couple of weeks, I can try doing it and pass you the GSAK macro. The macro is just a text file, and you can read through it to make sure it is not hiding anything nasty (I'm not sure you can hide anything really nasty in it in the first place but anything is possible). Thanks for the offer, you have been very good to a cacher in distress, if I ever get into a pickle again i hope to have your advise, as it has been very usfull. By the way I am the son of Hemel Staggers
  12. I've got a Garmin GPSMap 60csx, it seems to do the trick for me, not quite sure how much it is, but i think it was abought £200.00, whatever that is in the old american $. the elec. compass is relly good, but if you don't like it you can by mapping software.
