  1. What has happened with more than one of my TB's I found is it ends up on the bottom of my pack for awhile until I rifle through it and find them...not so sure about this one though. Kind of hard to miss, hear, smell...
  2. It is all up to the individual. I have logged some cool TBs at events, and I have let others do the same. All personal preference I would guess.
  3. Why not try and email the person holding it right now? I would give it to you.
  4. I love stuff like this. Thanks for the find.
  5. Please post what kind of response you get because I too have a similar situation from a 1933 USGS mark (with witness) I photographed this summer.
  6. Not sure if you are confused with the new rules about virtuals (a little harder to post one now). That is all the news I have heard about them.
  7. I live vicariously through my 2 girls (4 years old and 2 years old) and they are my hobbies.
  8. NorStar, you missed AE4176 about 50 feet closer to the entrance of the cemetery. BTW, it is the Plain-Mont Cemetery. It is located on the Plainfield, Montpelier town lines in Plainfield, VT, not Barre. Here's one submission. I just like the picture. The disk is hard to see but it is located in the lower center of the picture.
  9. Never been to Michigan, and probably never will. But thanks for the FYI anyway.
  10. I adopted one cache and yes it took a few days to iron out the kinks, but the response time was minutes on the GC end. It was me who took awhile to respond.
  11. Oh, I almost forgot (well I actually did)...welcome to your greatest obsession!!
  12. I did some caching in Tuscon last September. I had a blast for the 2 weeks I was in the area. You are lucky. Try and hook up with some of the locals. The caching community is pretty vibrant from what I witnessed. Check this log out from my attempt at Golden Gate Mountain Cache. Believe it or not, I still have slivers from the cactus coming to the surface of my skin!!
  13. Give yourself a little more credit superpowerdave. Nice finds.
  14. I noticed that something was added today.
  15. Thanks for your input Jeremy...good enough for me.
  16. I love it, my daughters love it, my wife could care less. 3 out of 4 aint bad.
  17. If I had enough emails from people wanting a warning posted, I would have no problem placing it in the listing.
  18. If I saw one, I would take it. Like someone previousely stated...UGLY IS RELATIVE.
  19. I dont see the point for large enough (or even small) caches. Just dont see it working.
  20. Did you recently replace your batteries? I have a Vista and I have to calibrate the compass and altimeter every time I change the batteries. 27' does seem a good enough average though. Just a thought...
  21. To answer your question...Thanks For The Cache.
  22. I tried my hand early on with one. Sent it on its merry way. It lasted for a few months, and now someone has it as a trophy. Glad I spent the $5 for someone's collection. That's how some people like to collect them.
  23. All very good information from everyone, and thank you for making up my indecisive mind that in the end...I dont need an external antennae.
