  1. I did it but got told of my another cacher i know. You could, but is it really the geocaching spirit?
  2. If it was me, i would get someone to adopt my caches and watch them grow and people find them.
  3. Hi Viewers, I am an eleven year old boy and love geocaching. I currently have not found that many. (66) I do most of my caching in school holidays. I was out the other day, caching with my garmin etrex. I turned the gps on after getting out of the car, but had no signal. Normally, it can usually get at least on satelite signal. I walked with the gps on for an hour and a half and left it on running in open sky for an hour. The batteries are all good, but it will not work. I have looked around at second hand gps's, but am struggling to find one in my price range. (low) I was wondering if anyone had a surgestion on where i could get a gps (second hand) or had an old one which they where willing to sell. I don't need anything with map's or colour, just something to direct me to the cache and say how many feet away i am. I would be very grateful if anyone could help. My email: williambanfield223@googlemail.com Thanks for reading. William.Banfield

  6. Hi Everyone, I have started to make my own website. I thought that this would be a good idea, as for lots of the information i needed about geocaching i have had to search deep into the web for. There is a guide to buying a GPSr, forums and more. I hope the site will be helpful and you may leave feedback on the site so that it know what to improve. The site address: http://icaching.weebly.com I hope that the site will be helpful and interesting Please note that i am still building the site
  7. Hi, I have watched gps reviews on sciurida.co.uk. The has a video on there about how to geocache with garmin nuvi's. He demenstrated with a 200, but it should be the same on all models according to hime. You need to change it to 'pedestrian' and 'off road' mode. Here's the link the the clip that shows you how to do it. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7407432798720049061 You may also want to check out http://pilotsnipes.googlepages.com/index.html as this shows you how to do paperless geocaching with a garmin nuvi. Paperless geocaching is were you can put difficulty, terrain, cache size, description and additional hint. This will guide you through how to do it. I hope this helps to solve your problem. William
