  1. I have an almost new Garmin Legend HCx GPSr for sale. I have the original box, accessories, manuals, etc. It is a refurbished unit that I bought a couple weeks ago, but decided to get a different model. It is in perfect condition and works great. Also included is a Zagg screen protector (installed).

I am asking $160 PayPal and shipped.

This GPSr has not been registered with Garmin yet, so it is open for registration.

This is sold as is with no refunds, no returns. Item is working perfectly and is like new.

Send me an email through the forum if you are interested in it. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail, usually arrives in 2 to 4 days after payment.

You can check my feedback score (100% for 10 years) on eBay. My username is TomInJax, same as here.

I noticed that you apparently want to use paypal to receive payment.

I don't suppose you would take a money order rather than paypal? (assuming that it is even still for sale, since this post is a few days old......)

  2. In the case of the street maps, if you have two gps units that are not used at the same time you can move the card from one unit to the other. These maps are locked to a specific gps unit if your using a DVD, but inthe case of the card the license goes with the card.

Excellent! That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the post. My related question is, if you purchase two map cards, say a topo and a street, can you copy the contents of both cards onto one larger card and load both maps at the same time? Or are you stuck with one map at a time?

The street maps are locked to the sd card, they can not be copied. Not sure about the topo cards, you might be able to copy them.

To the best of my knowledge, I don't beleive that you can copy the topo cards either.

  3. I would not recomend the Explorist 100 or 200, they do not have a port to conect them to a computer. As you get more into geocaching loading data by hand can become a hassle. If you can find a Magellan Explorist 210, that would be a better choice. I do not recall the retail price of a 210 but used $00.00 or less would be OK. But for the price you can get a Garmin e-trex that will include a warranty.

Even better the Garmin e-trex Legend web link

Hey, the price seems really low on that e-trex for sale on the site you linked to, tigergps.

Is the thing refurbished or something???

  4. I'm selling my 2nd GPS, no need for two of these. It's brand new, not taken out of the house. $325, price is OBO. I'll also add an extra 2gb SD storage card for the built in camera & mp3 player/recorder & touch-screen.

    Thank you

Oops, forgot to ask in my first post, do you still have the box for it and everything that came with it?
