I have a gpsmap 76s. Can I make a route using the map in the unit? Define the waypoints of the route by "clicking" in the map. Like: Going there *click*, and then there *click*, further up there *click*, between there *click*................ and then get a route following this path.. I don´t see the option "Use map" when defining a route... Is there a way?

Is it possible to completely transfer an auto-routed route from my PC to my gpsmap 76s? When I transfer a route now (MetroGuide Europe 5) i just get the turning points and not the complete route along the roads. Anyone?

Garmin could sell SDK:s... I believe that it would rather increase the market share than the other way around.

Is there any way to keep the current map set in Mapsource when adding just one or two new maps? When I do it the program erases the current map set in my handheld (76S). Very annoying indeed as 20 megs of maps takes almost an hour or so to transfer. If you have, say, 21.5 megs of maps and wish to add another 100k, then this little procedure will last seemingly forever. I mean - there must be a solution... Right?

I´m using a Garmin GPSMAP 76S since a few weeks. Are the any modified, unofficial, firmwares out there to try? Why the heck doesn´t the unit support autorouting? Isn´t it just a matter of processing time? Is there hardware setting obvious limits preventing such calculations?
