  1. How do you adopt a cache when it says it is up for adoption?
  2. Wow, I can't believe I didn't know about the glossary, thanks for the help everyone.
  3. We found a tube of hardening agent in a pond with the warning "may cause severe burns, may cause internal injuries or death if swallowed". Nice thing to find in a pond, good for the birds!

  10. Thanks for all the good ideas!
  11. I want to leave some homemade CITO bags at the caches I visit, but I don't know what to use. I was thinking about using something like a plastic Safeway bag, but I wasn't sure if it the label would be considered an advertisement or not.
  12. How do you guage the value of a trade item? And is it "acceptable" to take a few low value items and trade in a more valuble item?
  13. Thanks for the advice. What I just realized is that the dollar store that we always went to just recently closed! Any way, I guess I'll just have to find somewhere else to by my geocaching tradables.
  14. My family and I are going to start geocaching again, but we don't know what to use for trade items. Last time we used the cheap army men figures from the dollar store and other things like that. Now we want to use some a little more valuble, but not to expensive. We also want to try to use mostly ecofriendly items. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.
