I was at the store yesterday and I saw a mapping program that says it is compatible with Garmin, Magellan, blah blah blah. Has anyone else tryed using other software besides Mapsource with your Garmin. I have a gpsmap60 and the base map is lacking to say the least. The program I saw was $49.99 compared to $100+ for mapsource. Can you download the maps into your gps or is it a computer based program that requires the gps to be connected in order for the mapping to work? Obviously the store clerk was of no help when he said, "What's a gps?"
