Sounds good...I'll tell my friend. She was helping her kid to sign up for an account but stopped when faced with the agreement. She didn't think her kid can legally sign an agreement.

Does anyone know if there's a minimum age requirement for a Geocaching.com account? I'm pretty sure this question had come up before but the forum search tool won't allow searching the word "age", even "age limit". Apparently any search word less than 4 characters are not allowed.

I have upgraded to premium but still doesn't work. I'm running IE8. Does anyone know if it's not compatible?

shellenpam, did you mean IE7? The PC I'm having problem is running IE8. I wonder if that's the problem.

Just upgraded. Description text is now downloaded to the PN-40 via "Send to GPS" but it's missing Additional Hints (i.e. decrypt info). Any ideas? Also, can someone let me know how to use the Bookmark premium feature? Thanks!

I have a DeLorme PN-40 running 2.5 beta firmware. It supposed to support lengthy comments downloaded from the "Send to GPS" feature of Geocaching.com. When I view the downloaded comments on the PN-40, the Description info is missing. In its place, a messege saying to see desc, I have to upgrade to Premium Membership. I'm okay with upgrading but wanted to make sure it will indeed give me the description field so I can have the detail clues, decrypting code, etc. loaded on the PN-40. The reason I'm not certain is because it doesn't say that in the upgrade page http://www.geocaching.com/Membership/Default.aspx Can someone confirm? Thanks!

I have a DeLorme PN-40 and tried to use the Copy to GPS function on Geocaching.com but unsuccessful. It passed the first two steps (check for plug-in and connect to device) but failed when trying to send the geocache info to the device. The error message indicating a time-out problem but I know the device is talking to the PC okay because the Transfer to SD Card function works. Can someone help? Thanks! I read somewhere on this forum that the Copy to GPS function is available to premium members only but it seems to work for me as a basic member (the button is not greyed out.) Well, at least it started to work. Below is the text from the Copy to GPS pop-up screen: 1. Checking for browser plug-in (PASSED) Plugin version "1.0 IE, Build 138407" found. 2. Connecting to GPS device (PASSED) Attached to: Earthmate PN-40 3. Sending geocache information (FAILED/TRY AGAIN) The geocache transfer has timed out. Please try again. 4. Disconnecting from GPS device (PASSED) Finished.

That explains my problem too (DeLorme PN-40). But why isn't the "Send to GPS" button greyed out?
