I have the latest update of Garmin Express and for my gps also

I downloaded the new mac IOS called Catalina and when I use it to download "My Lists" the macbook doesnt recognize my Garmin Map 62S. Does anybody else have this problem or any ideas what to do?

I bought a Legend brand new for my wife and put it in a drawer for over a year and recently pulled it out to boot it out for the first time and the message on the screen was that the software was missing...I don't think there is is anything I can do about that is there as the warranty has long expired...a useless machine now and new.
