  1. Do you mean clear the tracks from the GPS or the software? I don't have the software but I do a have a Sportrack Map. To clear a track on the GPS go to the map navagational screen push the menu button then down arrow to clear track left arrow to yes then enter. That should clear the track from the gps.
  2. Thanks for the replies if I get a chance I will try GPSBabel tonight. It looks very promising.
  3. I there any software that will read EasyPGS files for Linux? I found GPS Drive but it seems to based on the Garmins and I have a Magellan. I am not sure if it can read EasyGPS files anyway it seems you can download waypoints from a Garmin but not sure about uploading to the GPS. If not has anybody tried to run EasyGPS under Wine? Would that be an option? TIA
  4. I find it usefull when the distance is posted in the logs. I take my two kids who are 2 and 4 years old and I don't want to take them on a 5 mile hike because its too much for them. I really never even thought about it as being much of clue as to where the cache is.

  6. I am pretty new to this also I don't think you can download the waypoints into an existing file. You can select multiple caches from the search page then click download and they will all be in one file. I edit the waypoints to more meaningful names if I only have a few. I find it just makes it easier to select on the GPS.
