I think this is the strangest log we have found. It was written into the log book and dated the day before we found it. They had put the cache back just as it should have been, even to the point of adding to the cache treasures. "Sept 3rd or 2nd, we aren't sure. We stopped to smoke crack and found your cache. Thought it was a stash or someones s*** or a dead baby. So we left a lighter and took some vibes. Have fun. We're off to find more treasure. As the sun shines may your moon be bright." I wonder if they ever found more treasure hiding under an ivy covered log.

I take offense! Are you trying to hurt my business??? Also shouldn't it be 2005? Is this a re-gifted card??!?!?!? yah, I don't really want to get a regifted 2004, lets keep our hopes up for a great new year. The best part of 2004 for us was finding geocaching. It has really added some fun to a very strange year. And for me, I wish that my 911 skills are not needed as we go into the new year. Here's for a boring shift on New Years Eve for all ambulances.

I'd just go back and find the other parts and then log it. Who knows, the cache owner may have thought you gave it away to the final location and his feelings got hurt and if you find all the parts, and don't give away that the end is near the X cache then he should let your log stand next time.

I agree that most of the time that you find the whole area torn up, either the coordinates are off and everyone is looking for it or it has gone up missing. In that case the searchers are just trying to not look stupid for not finding it and after four people look everywhere, the area does get torn up or at least have lots of muddy trails around the area. So far I have not found arrows leading to a cache.

Why are you bragging about holding someone else TB for that long. I don't get it, someone else pays for it, sends it out and you TAKE it for yourself for almost a year to deprive the owner from the main reason it was put out. WHY? Are you just mean?

stay in Gig Harbor and do night caches and have great beer and pizza, what could be better. IMHO.

We figured to hit our 500th at the Gig Harbor cache machine but we will have to work at it in the next month to do that by Jan. 8th.

If Harmon's is local and not all the way into Tacoma, and has real beer and good pizza and can handle all of us, than I am will Criminal. Lets just go there. As an out of stater who plans to be there, after a day of caching I really don't want to have to tackle driving through a new area like Tacoma.

I am, I could use a list. I have tried to get a pocket quary of them but since some aren't even from the US, I only get some and not all. I really like them, some are very simple but some really take thinking. I still want to find a moon tree. I know where there is one but still have to find a not busy time to visit it. I enjoy the ones that are on the national registry and the painted ladies one about victorian houses.

We are looking forward to this machine. If you have too many, maybe you will have to do a two day one or have an option for a second day or something. You are always so creative. Thanks for all the work you always put into these.

Yes, do tell what your outcome was and how you achived satisfation? I didn't get much say in my outcome as they canceled my order without a word from me.

I see a lot happened while I was away for a few days. I got my cancel too, but didn't get the $20.00. I guess I will hold office max in higher regard because they did honor their mistake and so I don't even feel like going into a Target to shop for the $20 gift cerficiate, even if they gave it to me. So I bought a lottery ticket and lost, I will still keep watching for the next good deal the forum finds and will try for that one too. But for this hand, I will fold and gracefully leave the table.

I still haven't received anything. So the no comments to Target is now standing at one still posible and one no go with no gift for their mistake.

Yup, but since this isn't bait and switch there isn't that problem. Let's see, they described a C, we bought a C, the shipping to niskibum says they are shipping a C, to me if they send a plain legend, then it might be viewed as a switch. There was no notice saying it wasn't a C.

Guess in a few days, niskibum will let us know what came in the mail from Target. That will settle the issue and we will know if they will honor the deal we bought or not.

I can't tell you why some got a "your order has been canceled" and some of us have not gotten anything. I will still stay on the table until I get either a cancel or a "your item has been shipped" As niskibum says, target says they are shipping the right one. I guess if it says they have shipped a C then it should arrive as a C.

Mine still says a C and I have not received any e-mails. When I check the order it hasn't changed in description or title. The link says, if you want to buy another one order here but it doesn't say that is what I am getting, it seems to want me to order another one. I don't know what to tell you but so far, my order still says I am getting a C and not a regular. And that it will be here in two to six weeks.

Did you order one when it was still a C? I know that now it is listed as a plain Legend but those of us who have full blown orders for C have not been notified so far of a change. I am still waiting for someone to get a regular or get the "e-mail" saying they aren't shipping it. How do you know that it isn't what we ordered and since our order still says C, unless you also ordered how do you know that we won't get what we ordered? Cards still on the table untill the dealer calls misdeal and I haven't heard the "dealer" say misdeal yet.

three weeks would almost be when we are expecting our delievery and maybe they are hoping that most of the orders will get canceled. I still think we will get an e-mail before they ship.

We started with realms of paper, when we did the Portland cache machine we had over 300 pages. Now we can put all that information on our palms. Yes, plural. We got the 21 and he liked it but I wanted back light and more memory to use also for work. The ease of downloading a PQ when we plan to travel and uploading to my palm is a world of difference. And you are right, when we did virtuals in Klamath Falls, we didn't know they required looking at pictures and finding the pictures in the city so we couldn't do that series, but for the most part cachemate has been great. And it is easy to use even for non computer people.

Very interesting, and still no e-mail saying I won't get it. We shall see. There are still a few of us with cards on the table. I wonder how many have held out.
