well this year I've talk to about 12 people about it, three will go once in a while with me and a family is looking into getting their first gps , they went caching with me only three weeks ago to find 2 caches .

I know when I was in the service that after three days in the field even the flies started staying away and our uniforms would stand up by themselves (and if you think I'm joking give it a try or ask someone else who did it . pwhew

ok definitions of bearing and heading bearing :angular horizonal direction , measured either clockwise or counter clockwise around 1/4 of a circle , where the value is in degrees relative to either north or south . In a gps receiver , it usually refers to the direction to a waypoint . heading :the horizonal direction that you are facing or traveling . Don't know if this helps any but give it a shot and let us know if you find it.

I believe what you need to do is face 349 deg which will give you the magnetic north then set your COMPASS ,yes you should bring/have a compass for this, at this and turn so you are facing 169 deg and you should be in the area I suspect. I not positive on this , I will do further research .

It's quite possible he/she made a mistake , did you contact the owner asking about this ? I know I made a mistake on one of my multis by giving the wrong coordinates , which was easy because I had too many coordinates that I had/was working with at the time . I'm currently working on a puzzle very carefully as to not make that mistake again .

Well I have a eight pack stuffed into a firstaid/compass pouch . I carry one on each of my packs . It can be attached anywhere that I want and refilled as needed .

Okay what type of danger are we talking about , rapids , falls or something else ? Next what would make this so interesting ?

Ok what type of card should I use for wireless access ? There are alot of different types wireless cards , I have a slot in the side of the laptop (PCI I believe) . Next how to configure when I do get one (win XP) and any other misc info I might need . Thanks all in advance for your help .

Okay here's another site that I know has caches in the area of quite a few of these . Ghost towns have a look and see how many more cache sites coinside with these Ghost towns .

So since we're talking about state park guidelines are there any for MA ? I've done some searching to no avail so I want to see if someone else can find any . I've got one and getting ready to place a second so want to make sure .

Did the owner ask you to change the log for the cache ? I did a log once and I referenced something that the owner wanted to leave as a surprise , so he emailed me asking me to change it which I did . If the owner didn't even ask drop them a email asking why didn't you just ask instaed of deleting my log , I would have changed it . Be nice even if the owner isn't , take the higher road . Welcome to cahing (your new obsession) .

Best thing to do is find all the caches in your area and also load them into your gps or print them out . Once you know where they all are you can now find a spot for yours . I know an area that could use one in Rocky Hill , drop me a line. rockyhill added link

well it looks like our cacher is being framed . Next question is who on the show came up with this and did the research on it ?

yeah it was buried but 30 plus caches in the park who was the approver for that region ?

Ok finally found a fake bolt today , love these types when it's right in front of you but you don't see it (hidden in plain sight) .

Here's a place in CT that is haunted ; Meriden - Hubbard Park - A young girl was said to be kidnapped and brought into some woods at Hubbard Park and now haunts the park. She will save those being kidnapped of killed and kill the ones who are kidnapping or killing. She is said to look like a 7-year-old girl and she will laugh when she kills someone bad. hey I know that asprin found it at night in the dark and nearly lost my gps . Found two today that were by the same cacher and boy some real thought behind these . One used a rock and then a rubber insect , the other used a wood animal with painted coordinates and a lizard w/rock . Sorry no pics plus I know people who will know which ones I'm talking about .

I notice this morning that everytime I hit the back button I get page cannot be displayed . I just hit refresh and it's fine .
