  1. You can tell your unit how many caches you have found Setup>Geocaches>Found Geocaches>..enter your find count to date.. If you want it to display the all caches you have found already when you say Show Found I believe you can load your My Finds gpx file in your Oregon and these caches will show up a found (I'm not sure as I haven't tried this myself). Perfect - this is exactly what I wanted, I don't care which ones they are as I only export caches I haven't found to my device. A very straight forward answer. Thank you
  2. I've just bought a new Garmin Oregon 550t that tracks what caches I have done and my field notes as I log finds, nice feature. I seem to be able to find loads on uploading these field notes from my GPS - no problems here. What I would like to do though is export my finds to date to my Oregon so that I can track while I am out caching how many caches I have made. At the moment the new unit thinks I have done just a couple. I want to tell it which I did before I bought it. Now before someone tells me it's easy with GSAK I'm a mac user. I do have a PC but I've not needed to use GSAK yet so if I can avoid it I will. Any help or pointers to previous topics on generating a new geocache_visits.txt file from my account would be great. Thanks, Fatbloke.
  3. Someone who should know better called Yellow Jacket picked up Dobbin (http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=1660331) in April 2009. Sadly he seems to cache every single day, has confirmed he still has Dobbin, but still has to move him on after just 6 months. Don't pick them up if you're not going to move them. Yellow Jacket has only done 3338 caches so maybe he's still learning or hasn't yet come across the right cache yet. The only other reason I can think of is maybe he's starting a TB and Coin collection at someone elses expense.
