  1. They best thing I've ever used is a product called Ivy Dry.
  2. I changed mine once. My old name used to be the name of a business that I owned that is no longer in business. Of course if I ever sell the Jeep, god forbid, I'll change it again.
  3. What would be nice is if someone could take the video and perhaps edit it down some and then create a .mpeg or .avi file that could be stored somewhere and a link to it given. That way it could be seen by all.
  4. animated gif test. Do they work? Let's see, shall we.
  5. Check www.buy.com as well. They often have good deals and if you catch them on the right days, you can often get free shipping.
  6. I bought mine off of eBay. Even with shipping it is always cheaper there than to purchase one in the store.
  7. Wow, thanks Jamie for the tip about the office supply stores cutting them down. I'll for sure use that in the future. Gotta love this forum.
  8. I like the cut idea the best. So much so, it's what I've just done. Now, if I can only find a good place to hide this thing, I'll be set. Thanks.
  9. well I'll be a monkey's distant cousin. That was easy. Thanks.
  10. I am working on a cache. The main container is roughly the size of a small peanut butter jar. It's a decent size but apart from post it notes which break apart, I've yet to find any good, small pads to use as a log book. 3"x5" is about the smallest I've found. Something around 2"x3" would be ideal. Thanks. Jeff
  11. Be careful what you offer there 6dog. Considering the type of cache I am working on, private property may be my best route and I've already got one in my backyard. A second would be too close.
  12. Hello fellow hoosiers. Long time cacher, first time poster. ( in this section of the forum anyway ) I'm always amazed at some of the #'s some of you have found. I've been at this for a while now and have only found 84. I've hidden three myself and have a fourth ready to go if I can just find the perfect spot for it.
  13. I have no clue, but I do know the author of GSAK frequently posts in this forum... http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=11 You might want to try your question there.
  14. Here are two of my personal favorites that I have found.. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...5d-60b1b1b86502 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...59-1c584bc4a789
  15. Ok, I must admit I thought it was goofy to have a dream about caching, that is until I did so last night. I've been working on a cache I am going to hide soon. I have it all ready except for the location which I've been looking for. Last night I was dreaming of driving around in my Jeep and looking for spots to put it. So, if you find a good doctor, please get his/her name for me.
  16. I can't seem to stop listening to the latest Rolling Stones CD that came out. a Bigger Bang.
  17. I will agree that 7 is not perfect. Just today mine directed me the wrong way down a one way street. Oops. "But officer, my gps unit TOLD me to turn here"
  18. I think the simple answer is yes, you need to have your head examined. Of course we all do. Hi, my name is Jeff, and I'm a Geocacheaholic.
  19. The first rule about approvers, don't talk about approvers. No wait, that was Fight Club, nevermind.
  20. I've seen some on eBay but I don't see any on there at the moment. This person is selling some stickers though.... http://www.sissy-n-cr.com/store2.shtml Hope this helps.
  21. Welcome to the club. Also, if you don't already max out your vacation time at work, you will probably begin to. I've been known to call in to work for a cache day!
  22. I've owned two GPS units so far and both have been Garmins. I just recently purchased the Vista C. I LOVE IT. It's a great size and shape, has loads of features, has the electronic compass which has helped me many times, does great in both bright and dark situations, and is very simple to use. I've loaded the City Select software on it and also use it to give me driving directons. You certainly will not be disappointed by getting the Vista C.
  23. Come on up 65 to Indy sometime. We have a lot up here on every side of town. There are several parks that each contain several caches in them so you can park in one spot and get a bunch at once.
