  1. You ride a scooter... No need to walk. Just scoot along the path to the cache. But What is your opinion on his topic???
  2. Not sure about Ohio and your 23 finds... but here in North Texas there are a great diverse amount of all types of hides. Sure some are better than others but all in all I think there are a good number of all types of hides. All you have to do is pick and choose the ones you want to find. If you don't like LPC's dont look for them. Would have to say I dont agree.
  3. If he dont respond to your email I would say you could delete it. I have deleted some logs on a couple of caches of mine when I couldn't find a signature and the cacher wouldn't answer emails.
  4. In general terms new laws that are passed normaly don't effect things prior to tha passing of the law. There for if it was in effect before the law, it is allowed after the law. Just as long as there is no change in the cache then it will be allowed to remain. I think if I was the CO I would go ahead and archive. It may be grandfathered in but is looking for it still legal?
  5. Thats them huge thorns right. (if that doesn't sound Texan)...
  6. I agree there but next time I think I would rather let it flow from the arms and legs not from a busted lip or a gash thats a inch and a half from my nose. . Plus my co-workers are enjoying my pain... They all say that the nose is broken. At least I was able to go back the same afternoon and find the cache.... I think there is something wrong with me! LOL
  7. Thanks! Your pocket query has been saved and currently results in 678 caches. You can preview the search on the nearest cache page I havent look threw all but that seems to be a good average. West Fort Worth Area.
  8. Well today I was out in the 105 degree Texas heat with the family grabbing a few P&G's and one new Mystery cache. When I decided to take a dive and taste the concrete. Lady SdrawkcaB said we should go to the ER and have it looked at. I promised that if it was still bleeding in the morning I would go to our regular doctor. Was wandering about our worst Injurys in the field. Not sure how to post Images so I will just put a link to the cache. You can read it and look at the Pics if you want. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...f-216de662a572# Cache on.... but careful. LOL
  9. The latest note for GC2CZ87. August 10 by christian96 (8 found) If you're having trouble getting in, follow another car. There's plenty of time for you to get in as well. ... I think a NA is called for here.

  12. I was thinking that it might be the same person... The two that we went and found were simply glad ware boxes with a single sheet of notebook paper. On the paper was "Rite you name here" in a colored marker. Looks like a child placed them.
  13. Was thinking about that.... But was going to listen to the fourm on there humble opinion,,,
  14. Not sure how to go about reporting caches that are placed in Private and or a Gated Commuity. There are 3 that have been recently placed on the north west side of Fort Worth Texas. Here are links to the Caches. I will post them I know that the Reviewers hang out here. http://coord.info/GC2B1Y3 http://coord.info/GC2BC96 http://coord.info/GC2CZ87 Should I email the reviewer personaly or will this post be enough? Thanks ....
  15. My oldest just made his own account.... He is sorta upset with me because I won't let him go back and retro find a lot of caches. I told him he has to sign the logs. ....
  16. works on mine.... http://www.facebook.com/frank.wester
  17. Secondly, I wanted to place this on an island I always visited as a child with my friends. It's in a creek about .5 of a mile to a mile wide. The water is up to your chest. The issue with this is my GPS is not waterproof. How do I get the coordinates? I don't have a boat... I don't want to hold it above my head because sometimes the water goes up to my neck and even my mouth! What should I do? Should I just not place it there? I would say wait till the creek was low or till you could buy or borrow a boat. Just Remember when you place it you have to maintain it. As for the size I would say a Large Small or a Small Regular....
  18. E-mail Alerts....or Notification
  19. Been talking about using a wild life camera.... One that takes a pic. on a motion sensor. Afraid it would walk off. Plus the cheap ones are around 75 or 80 dollars.
  20. I think that the icon that you have is the "Cachekinz" icon. The different tags don't have there own seperate icon. I have a catapiller cachekinz trackable that shows the same icon. Did that make any sence? I work over night and just gotten out of bed lol
  21. I had this happen to one of my caches. I moved it. It was hidden i March and it was still quite cool for Texas. After it warmed up the tree I had it hiden in had a large Bee hive located in it. Here is a link so you can see how I handled it. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...65-9ddf3879e1e3
  22. If you can't just click on the map I have found you can right click and open the link that way.
  23. There is a link to the left of the map. Use that. The map link dosn't work on my computer either. Think its is a IE 8 Problem.
  24. I have one thats 325 Feet from our back door. Its in a park that our yard backs up to. Never seen any one there. I have met some of our FTF Hounds here in Fort Worth at a couple of my other caches.
  25. We saw this one near Decatur Texas. It was a coyote at one time. Saw this bat near Benbrook Lake in North Texas. []
