  1. I cant even get the Beta maps to work right now.
  2. Use this link and it will let you log the cache. You can't get the cords but you can post a log. I have a PM but my 16 year old son dosn't. He uses this link when we find PM only caches. http://www.geocachingadmin.com/
  3. !NWOD SBMUHT OWT! Unless you had a team of 50 people committed to maintaining it, there would always be a likely chance of forgetting. Also, Murphy will get you every time.
  4. Just remember when placing reflectors that if its winter when the new growth of spring happens it will cover your markers.
  5. You might try a email to your reviewer. Or if you know the CO user name you can find it that way. Same if you know some one who found it before it was archived.
  6. I think as long as there is no physical container. A virtural part like a Historical marker os something lik that its ok. If im wrong Im sure someone will correct me, But i think thats the way the guideline reads.
  7. Any one having problems posting Logs threw there andriod? We havent been able the last two trips. Just get a Error massage rtequesting a force close.
  8. Wouldn't this keep the local Bombsquad busy for a while.
  9. But you forgot to go back and log the DNF. Was out Sunday here in Fort Worth in the snow and rain to grab a First Find on a new Mystery/Puzzle cache. See your not the only crazy one. Here is a link to my Log. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=826361d5-57e6-4c7f-b156-f3f19a028a5e Edited to remove You-Tube Link
  10. Yes but reading the spats is very enjoyable.
  11. interesting due to the subject from a GPS manufacturer's new web site. ( I think that is vague enough not to get removed) ??? +1 for competition I have to ask would we get it without? - 1 for repetition .... I've looked and here in the Fort Worth/Dallas area the ones they have posted arn't original caches.... Just GC.com caches with there codes. Several I have logged already, thats how I know that they are not new and just copies. I just bought a new GPSr I hope Groundspeak doesn't drop support for there recivers. Wish this thing had a spell check

  13. When the map pulls up the Seatle WA area try using the zoom to address. Put your zip in there and you will get pay dirt.
  14. Was looking at the 60csx. Seen lots of praise around here but not sure.... Cabellas has it for $199 compared the the 62 seires that is going for around $400. What i would like from you is to know if you have the 60 would you recomend ir and if you have used both is it worth the extra saving to get the newer unit. Curently I use a E-trex Vista. Its been a good unit just want a new toy.
  15. I like the Idea of the blue frowns on the map.
  16. I would say that making a bogus log just to get the souvenir show's bad form. The Idea is to visit the cache to recive the little bonus. But there are some that think its all about the numbers....
  17. I know the web sit was dragging bad yestrday.... Lots of traffic..... Hope it happen... I know that I got mine in.
  18. Here are a couple of examples here in Fort Worth. One is extreem and one is mine... http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...6-58182c833069# Extreem http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...8-29b61929dfd2# Not so extreem but mine.
  19. Thats cool.... Never came close.... Best Ive done is 23 caches in a day over about a 10 mile hike with my then 14 year old and a freind of his. There were no FTF's just a bad case of PI on CPStews (my son) friend. We dont go crazy as some on the First to Finds, If we have a chance we will make a Midnight run for one. Cache on and I look foward to your post on finding 20 in a day....
  20. My opinion? Really? LPC's should be BANNED! Just glad we don't have them in the UK. Not a fan of caches in built up areas. Give me decent sized caches out of town. LPC's are ok if used correctly. They make great finals for a good puzzle. But just to place one because the lamp pole is there I agree is goofy. What could be more anticlimactic than finding the end of a great puzzle cache under the skirt on a lamp post? End it someplace interesting. Preferably somehow related to the puzzle. Ok point taken. I'm just so stupid if I can solve the puzzle I become over joyed.
