After the updates my Garmin device is not being recognized by the geocaching website. The Garmin website says everything is up to date including the communicator software.

I have a couple more days to wait to contact Garmin. So far I have found no help on the interent other than requesting a copy of the topographic maps software that was preloaded on the device. I owned that software which I deleted and should be given access to a hard copy. If I am granted a copy of the software Ill keep you all posted so you can request a hard copy as well.

I was trying to delete some files from my Colorado 400t, when I accidentally deleted my topographic map software and possibly my basemap software from the device. After realizing what I had done it wass too late! There is no record of the files anywhere! I tried to use some un-delete software with negative results. Has anyone made or heard of anyone who made this BONEHEAD mistake like I did? I have to wait until Tuesday to contact Garmin to see what they can do for me. Hindsight is always...... 20/20. I did not backup my GPS before messing with the files.... I messed with something I had no business messing with. I'm really mad that I was able to delete this file in the first place! It should not even be allowed to be accessed
