One reason for the premium membership that most forget to mention is your supporting Groundspeak, who make this game possible. Same reason why I paid for the Geocaching App and I do not use the free ones out there.

The wait is over !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whether you like the 1/1 P&G's or the Extreme 5/5 hike's Wading in streams for 3/3's or climbing tree's for 2/4's. This years DLA2013 Event GC4948Q will have it all Year one we challenged L&A Cacher's to hide over 100 caches, they did it. Year two, we challenged L&A Cacher's to create and hide the L+A Geo-art, they did it Year 3 we challenged L&A Cachers to hide the DLA2013 Fizzy Geocaches, and one more time Local Cacher's came through and hid 1 Geocache for every D/T rating out there, yep 81 Different Difficulty/Terrain ratings (No liar's caches allowed) A big shout out to the following Geocacher's Aaronhaynes No-One (formally Jack2U) KilroyReturns Codehalk Curl4U Coman123 Queenvic Shaker962 Bworm But they did not stop at 81, they surpassed 100 geocaches again Bravo everyone Joe and Theresa and the County of Lennox and Addington

Getting my GC ID before the cache is published
coman123 replied to g0t0pless's topic in How do I...?
Just walk through the steps, use fake coords close to the real ones, you will see your listing, and GC code, with the option to check a box and submit for review, don't do this part When you hide all stages and have the true locations, just go to the menu at the top right corner of your cache listing page and edit your listing Make sure when your adding additional waypoints that they are HIDDEN from view When your done, THEN submit for review. Remember no stages of your Multi (if your placing something at that location) can be with in 161 meters or 500 feet from any cache or stage of a multi (except your own) Hope this helps Coman123 -
Grandfather the Letterbox Hybrid type
coman123 replied to L0ne.R's topic in General geocaching topics
From the Geocaching site. Letterbox Hybrid Letterboxing is another form of treasure hunting using clues instead of coordinates. In some cases, the letterbox owner has made their container both a letterbox and a geocache and posted its coordinates on Geocaching.com. If there is a stamp inside a Letterbox Hybrid, it is not an item intended for trade; the stamp is meant to remain in the box so that visitors can use it to record their visit. To read more about letterboxing, visit the Letterboxing North America web site. So truly, according to the GC web site, the LBH posted coordinates should be where the LBH is...not where an adventure starts. If you want the adventure, hopfully the same container is listed on one of the LB'ing sites. -
