  1. When I renewed the date was reset immediately, as I recall that was always the case except for 1 time a few years ago. I got a reply from support that the credit card is only pre-authorized and will be charged on the renewal date. I was not on auto-renewal before. So I choose to renew manually, choosing the auto-renewal option (no other possibility). When I look now, auto-renewal is enabled. So when I understand it correctly, they checked my credit card and changed my account into auto-renewal. So it should renew within a week automatically. On the other hand, they have sent a bunch of mails welcoming me with my premium membership... Very very confusing... I am surely going to check my credit card... -quote- Thank you for contacting Geocaching HQ and we apologize for any confusion. Your Premium Membership was pre-authorized, but you won't actually be charged for the membership until your current Premium membership expires on 25 Jul 2016. At that time, the expiration date on your membership will update. -end quote-
  2. I renewed my premium membership today and also noticed the change to auto-renew. After paying with Mastercard and receiving the confirmation e-mail, the next renewal date was not updated! (still the old date) So I think there is something wrong with the payment process. I opened a support ticket with no response until now. So I advice everybody to carefully check all dates after renewing!!
  4. The system locates me in Germany although I am living in Belgium... Nice feature, but wouldn't it be an option to use the home coordinates entered in the users profile ?
  6. Hi, Briefly, the text says that on a cache maintenance, they discovered that the location was destroyed and that they would search for another location. The box (and your TB in it) was not lost. So that's good news for you I think!

    Metric system

It is indeed something to look at. With the PDA setup as metric measurement, the cartridge instructs to go further for 50 meter, but distance is always shown in feet. It should be possible to show it in meter also.
  9. Dear abchan, I posted a link to your message on the local Belgian forum. DiKri
  10. On the geocaching.com website with the overview of pocket queries. Then clicking on the name of the query. It's a problem with the website, not the result of the query. Strange enough, the query itself runs and gives the expected results, but you can't open the definition of it. If you copy the query, the copied result gives the same error.
  11. I have a problem opening some of my pocket query's giving following error: Server Error in '/' Application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Please take a look at the Belgium Dutch/French geocaching website http://www.geocaching.be where you will find all extra info in the classroom.
  15. Hi Wolfbait. There are about 1500 caches in Belgium. Please look at www.geocaching.be where you will find a local Belgium forum. If you post your question over there, you will certainly get an answer.
